Just warred her yesterday and I got some pictures. I plan on transplanting her into the hole I dug a while ago and use Coast of Maine as my medium. Also does anyone have a guesses on how old my plant is?
Ok so going off of caterpillar's guess this is about DAY 17. Just transplanted her today into a 1.5ftx1.5ft and I used a mix of 1/3 perlite 2/3 Coast of Maine organic lobster compost as my medium. In order to keep my plant a little more low key I decided sprinkle just a light layer of the compost over top to cover up the perlite. Also was wondering if you guys could check out my pics give me any pointers.
One thing I'm doing this year is at transplant I'll put soil right up to the first set of true leaves. Some I even pulled off the first set of true leaves and filled soil up to the second. Will allow for larger root mass, plus the first offshoots don't tend to get that big.
All looking good - the only thing I'd do at this point (and you may not have this problem) - is a liberal sprinkling of slug/snail killer in the plants around it - effectively creating a kill zone around your plants so that they don't get eaten. Once they are bigger I find this less of a problem - even slugs find cannabis leaves a bit indigestible. But when they are small and tasty you could wake up and wonder where all the leaves went.
To repel slugs and snails Epsom salts will work great also salty beach sand placed around the plant 6 inches out not very thick. Also a thin layer of lime will work to and not effect your plant
So today I went to water my plant and the main stem had been bent at a more than 90 angle but steemed to be growing well so I piled up loose dirt up to where the damage had occurred in order to support it. Best case scenario my girl just accidentally super cropped herself and will just keep on growing. I also poured a ring of epsome salt around my plant and was wondering how often I must reapply it to repel the slugs?. Here are a few more pics I took
