Hey guys, was hoping if I could get a little help in way to choosing a strain to run for my first grow getting back in to the swing of things. As I've said in my post in the introduction section, I've spent hours upon hours of looking for strains and then searching through diaries relating to them and what the out come was etc. I understand environment is the most vital part of the whole process, start to finish so I'm not going to ask which strain will yield the most.

Now at the moment just short of driving myself crazy with searching through hundreds and hundreds of pages, I've seen that Sweet Seeds get so much love everywhere and the Cream Caramel really does seem to shine through and most people have nothing but great things to say about it.

On the other hand a strain which is often recommended as easy to grow, with a good smoke and a great yield is Northern Lights. Now I've found some by "Vision Seeds", found a little on them but not a great deal. Their seeds seem to be very cheap, but I know this isn't always a great thing but if they are reputable then a saving is a saving.

If anyone has any input on the above strains/companies please don't hesitate, alternatively if you've a recommendation for something around the 70 day mark with a high yield and a nice smoke please let me know as I'll be ordering the beans on Monday. "pher Wiggle" All to be grown under 600w HPS, 6.5ltr pots in soil.

Thanks for reading guys and safe growing! :smoke:

hello m8, i would go for northern lights. very forgiving, robust, pest resistant and heat. look at my northern light auto grow journal. am a average grower but new to auto's so i went with n lights. good look keep us posted.

also i had heat issues at first but there still so healthy.

I have grown both Vision Seeds Northern Lights and Sweet Seeds Creme Caramel, they are both very good strains, but I would have to say the Vision Northern lights would be my choice for a first grow. Actually it was my first autoflower grow!! The NL is very forgiving and even for my first time and many mistakes, i yielded about 1 1/2 oz with cfl. Great quality too. Vision Seeds is legit, I've grown their White Widow too, great plant, but i really dislike the high. On a side note, both strains went over 100 days, but most of my grows do.:Hookah:

Thanks for the reply man, I've been leaning towards the Northern Lights so this fills me full of confidence. Was also just looking for a vote of confidence where the company Vision was concerned. Just taking a peek through your journal now mate, the growth is really starting to pick up now and you're gonna have some epic plants!

It's great to hear from someone who has grown the strain from this specific company, thanks so much for your helpful reply this is really what I was looking for. It was your first and you got 1 & 1/2oz with CFL? Hats off to you my friend, that's a cracking bit of growing and I'm sure you were very happy at that! Thanks again, been such a help.

Looks as though it'll be Vision's Northern Lights being ordered first thing on Monday, I really can't believe the price of their seeds they're such great value. Just can't wait to get started now! "pher Wiggle"
