Hi I just ordered a 600w dimmable viparspectra led light and a 24x48x55 mylar lined tent and timer plus 4inch carbon filter.My main question is thos a good light for 50$ .and it will be my 1st attempt at indoor growing anything I should do different than outdoors and I plan on going 18/6

Viparspectra is an Okay light from what I've seen but don't think cuz it says 600 that it's a 600w light it's probably a 100w light or 150w. Bit it should grow 1 plant with no problem.

I got the p1000 for 60.00 a piece. Bought six of them. Well built and bright.
For a 2x4 1 60 watt led is probably not enough.
I would want 200 true watts in a 2x4 minimum.
p600 would be 60 watt +/-
P1000 would be 100 watt +/-

I vegged these plants with 2 p1000. Running at 40 to 50%
In a 3x4
For flower I could have used 4 no problem. I believe. Won’t be finding out tho.

I looked at the product page but couldn't locate how much this unit draws. I suspect you will be underpowered except for a single plant - and even then it may be marginal. - just looking at the .ppdf numbers anyway.
It says average draw power is 132w +or- 3%
