The plant overall looks start to show after 2 days of any foliar feeding.
Regard that any dead tissue won't resuscitate so, you should pay attention to color of the leaves and especially any new growth.
Once every 5 weeks is not enough. You can give them foliarly every 2 weeks. Foliar spray should be given on top and underneath the leaves.
It's ok to feed a starving plant, if she's showing sign of nute def. When it's due to a ph-lockout then you should get the pH right first and then feed.
If you've been using organic nutes 5 days of flushing should be sufficient. Otherwise your 2 weeks is a good mark.
