2x2tent in closet. Directly above closet is attic space. I plan on punching a hole and venting it through the attic. Can I vent directly into the attic space or do I have to hook into the attic vents?

Words are hard today. Hopefully this makes sense.

Much love

I my opinion you would want to vent to the outside because if you vent directly into an attic space you run the risk of growing mold and pests in your attic. I know a grower who vented through his chimney from his basement and his chimney has mold on it and alot of popped bricks from the moisture.
Good luck and good harvests :toke:

yes and doable for a small spot like a built in wardrobe.
moisture and a growing mould is possible, depending on weather(uk ish),if ya vent stealthly into the rafters between the rockwool shit.an extra foot or two of ducting and less stealthy solved that for me.though if anyone is snooping in my attick........................and ive been caught allready.
good luck n keep er lit

You don't want to vent to the attic, that can become problematic, especially where mold is concerned.
Do you have a window cracked near the closet tent for incoming fresh air?

Depends on time of year. Michigan, USA gets lots of snow. The closet has a backyard wall. I think I'll look into venting it directly to the back yard. I do have filters.
I can't believe I dint consider mold. Jeesh. :face: I need more weed :smokeit:

I vent my filtered exhaust into a closed space where my gas hot water heater is...the gas flue helps air exchange to limit any mold starting. Just a idea to think on.

I'm in Michigan myself. With it being legal to grow up to 12 plants per household, I don't use any filters on my exhaust. I just use fine screens to keep the bugs from coming in. If your neighbors don't mind, don't worry about a filter. :smoking:

My office was in Michigan coupla decades ago. Always flew in with a joint in my pocket....my how times have changed!

My neighbors wouldn't mind but yards are tiny and I worry about break ins. Im a few blocks off 8 mile.

There are lots of grow houses/rentals being used in the metro area now. Those are easier to spot because of their air conditioners running on cool nights. In the winter they are easier to spot, they are the houses with no snow on the roofs. I don't think your operation is gonna be large enough to make it a target. Just my opinion.
