Gave them their second treatment yesterday. Looks like I got the purple pheno on bloody skunk. Awesome.

GT still putting out balls but no open flowers or pollen yet.

The BB not showing anything yet.
And the 3BOG has very few pistils compared to the other 3 and I have confidence it will turn. As I'm not selfing that one just need to get to the pollen stage so I can collect and do the others.

Think it drops when they open......checking it a few times a day now and got them spaced on deck. When it opens and I see pollen I will start dusting it's pistils and a marked site or two on the BB to at least get a cross of it if it doesn't turn. Then snip it and put the male end in a glass of water to carry it for a few days......long enough to get some storage pollen.

Think it drops when they open......checking it a few times a day now and got them spaced on deck. When it opens and I see pollen I will start dusting it's pistils and a marked site or two on the BB to at least get a cross of it if it doesn't turn. Then snip it and put the male end in a glass of water to carry it for a few days......long enough to get some storage pollen.

I was thinking, I thought water killed pollen, but I realized you were talking about snipping part of the plant and putting it in water to continue to develop. Canna coffee kicking in hard.

Saw Bob and Sawney talking about it and he described it to me...sounded like a great way to isolate it to get pollen for storage purposes and clear up the back deck for the 3 BOG. Figure I only need to keep it going for a few days to a week with a coffee filter catch basin.
Edit: I'm just really chucking pollen at this point.......next time around I'll read reviews, check charecteristics and look at pics of a strain or two and make a concentrated effort to make something..

I screwed up my planting of my photo girls in the wrong pots. That changed what I could use for the test. I'm using cheap seeds of a strain I haven't personally grown before. Next will be well thought out.
Just getting the procedures down, for later times. The extra seeds are just a bennie.
