Woooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo hoo....she comes down next week...BOOM!....got to love those Mephisto Genetics:yay:

Hello everyone..:toke:...everything is going well in the garden and the FS are recovered nicely from the old snippety-snip....they have re-distributed the auxins* and are beginning to push the two remaining growth tips out......I have left the massive fan leaves on for now, until i'm satisfied that the two tips can run under their own steam, so to speak.
One of the two is definitely more stocky than the other and is going to give me some trouble.:fire:.I might abandon the ties on that one, give her a few days to see.....anyway I applied the first ties today but on the stocky one, I had to wedge the hooks between the stems... they are just pushing the growth tips out...you will see in the pics haha....the other FS is cooperating a bit better, with longer stems on the growth tips, so easier to tie down...again this will become clearer after viewing the pics..:smiley1:...I hope you are enjoying reading my journal as much as I enjoy writing for you...:thanks:

*...I read this somewhere:smiley1:can't remember where so please correct me if i'm wrong.:smiley1:

P.S.....also while I was feeding I noticed small droplets of water on the leaves of the stocky FS....I'm really careful I don't get water on the leaves when I feed.....upon further inspection, the water was coming out the points on the leaf itself....never seen this before...have you?....here is a pic...it's not a brilliant pic, I will try for a better one if it happens again....

Boop boop bippety boop boop boop.....NEWSFLASH!!!....Haha Hello everyone...I changed the ties today to pull the stems further apart....they just pulled the hooks back up out the coco when I checked today, so I put safety pins thru the fabric and used double ended hooks, it looked pretty good on the stocky one as it pulled them apart from a different angle.....I usually just push the hooks in the coco to tie down, until they reach the end of the pot and then use the safety pins method from there.....anyway long story short I snapped one of the stems on the stocky FS.....no biggie really, obviously I would rather have NOT split it....but its a young, strong plant and I just taped her up and I know she will be fine...I was tempted to take the 2 big fans off both plants today but didn't.......also I see one of the girls has picked up a calcium def which I saw in the big fans....rusty spots eeww!!.......but I half expected this as I didn't buffer the coco, anyway the new growth is not affected so I think its sorted out now:smiley1:

Looking great as always. The weeping thing is weird. I can't find anything about it online...

Are you sure that’s weeping? looks more like the natural accumulation of air moisture condensing on the tips which is a pretty common thing but less so indoors.

If temps drop suddenly but stabilise quickly i suppose it could happen in a tent with a certain amount of RH though i don’t know the science well enough to know for certain. Guess there’s lots ignored factor like leaf shape and so forth

looking great though man

Fair man yeah who knows. If you could set up a camera in there with a 24 hr time lapse that’ll be just what you want to capture it happening because you could just adjust the frame rate post filming and then edit it down.
Have done it for college before (not with this type of grass but on wheat grass and fungi lol) with a friends photography set-up but it was pain in the ass
Would be interesting though!

never seen that before :shrug:trouble with growing is so many defs/toxs/issues can look similar :dizzy:.but there is a bit of taco leaf.sometimes asscoiated with the plant breathing/water passing through the leaf...not sure if its out or in though.temps/rh ? what the vpd chart say ? you have a copy ?
uk central heating radiators can dry the air real quick
:pighug:
