Hello everybody:vibe::vibe:.....new tent is up and lovely...woot:yay:....very happy there!:cooldance:.....Fugue Indica is big, tall and getting stacked:clapper:....the smaller of the two is showing some yellowing to the upper leaves with some rusty spots as well......It looks like a calcium deficiency to me but Im still using it so......It might be a lock out?but she starts a flush really soon so i'm not too concerned......nothing showing on the bigger Fugue...she is just soaking it up....the FS are into their second week, so they are getting full dose nutes as my chart dictates, they remain intact :yoinks::yoinks:for the moment but are pushing the third node out.....so a topping will be in order soon:muahaha:.....:yay:...here a few pics of new tent and the ladies......View attachment 986036 View attachment 986041 View attachment 986043

...:vibe::vibe::vibe:..Thanks everyone for stopping by:thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks:

Dang man that's some serious looking bud on your big girl. Maybe mine will end up dense like that lol. New tent looks sweet to lots of room.
My plant is just over a month old and I'm still running it on pretty low dose nutes. I'm only feeding 1ml/l and no signs of deficiency or over feeding. I'm suprised how little nutes it's needing. I'm not complaining though nutes are expensive lol.
How long till you cut the big girl? Looking forward to hearing the yield on that beast. I'm my plant will get some decent vertical growth happening now that the main training is complete. I'm thinking maybe I should have grown it more in a y shape to get more height. But I've seen seriously impressive yields off very flat plants so time will tell.
I can't thank you enough for the training tips man. It may be flat but the perfectionist in me wanted to make sure all Colas stayed perfectly level. But I'll probably just let it do its thing from this point on. Really curious to see how much it grows over two days. I'll be updating my journal Friday. This journal of yours has been like a grow Bible to me!

Hello everyone..:toke:..it looks to me like the two new Forgotten Strawberry's are up for it, as they look bigger to me just 24hrs later...

....also as I said somewhere, some pages back....I'm going to try and explain my process as much as I can, step by step, as it happens with these two FS......I have posted the feed chart I made already and I am following it.....but also I work hard to water equally and I measure carefully the amounts I pour....it occurred to me to journal my process while watering today.....so here goes...I hope you find it interesting::
....I use 8 litre fabric pouches to grow in, I think(?)this equates to 2.2 U.S gallons....DNQ me on that lol but its around 2 gal size pot I use:cool1:....I feed every day with full nutrients* to about 20%-30% run off....I use a stand for the fabric pots to avoid contact with the run off, as that is where the salts I have just rinsed out are....I usually feed at the same time everyday, mid afternoonish.....I should add actually that I use the "lift the pot" method to judge when watering is needed and only water everyday when its called for...but I still use the same method....ok lol so for 2 plants to 20%-30% run off in 8ltr/2gal fabric pots, I mix 4.1 litres of water** and ph it to inbetween 5.75ph and 6.09:thumbsup:....I know this seems quite specific..but its just the ph range I feel works best and I try to stay in it......so first I measure 600ml and pouring steadily but not too fast, I pour just around the perimeter of the coco....then I measure 600ml more and go round in a circle again, about an inch in and keep decreasing the circle until you have watered right up to the stem:cooldance:......by now all of your top layer of coco should be wet :jump:.......now imagine your top layer is a circle, but cut in half with a straight line:hump:......Then I measure 400ml and water back and forth from the middle to the outside.....first one half then the other...making sure to cover all the coco:smiley1:...ok so you should have run off by now and that is how I water:smiley1:...hope this helps somebody out there 'coz thats what AFN is all about:vibe::vibe:also.....to avoid water leaking out of the fabric pots after I put them back in the tent....I sit them on a folded tea towel, half then half again and once more....but be warned..DO NOT leave your pots on these towels as they will wick out all the feed and your pots will be super dry....I was forming a theory where I left a plant on a towel purposely to increase feeding.....but I just burnt my plants and have not gone further with that....yet!:vibe::vibe::vibe::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks::thanks:everyone:yay:

*from the chart and everyday when required.
**sometimes 5.1*** litres if I forget and the pots are really dry, I adjust amounts accordingly.
*** the .1 is a buffer.

so an 8L pot of cococo holds about 3-4L of water.good technique, ever decreasing circles :eyebrows:
im in soil but find moist soil can hold more water than dry soil.from 24/0 ?
keep er lit.
:pighug:
no dude.....sorry, I should clarify that....4 litres is for 2 plants....2ltr each:pass:

Really informative post man!
Nice looking plants

I find to avoid side leakage on smart pot during early life before everything is nicely bound together by the root system is to wrap them in the little cling film that i reuse till it’s useless. Just sort of stops the water from wanting to run out the sides quite so easy.
