Hello AFN...I have not been out to my tent yet but a couple of things I have made a decision on.........in my head! :yay:
1)..I will be ordering the T.A dual Coco soon.
2)..I will be splitting the stem of the bigger Dragonfruit
3).....I forgot number 3 haha...but I will get back to you as soon as I remember....hehe!

Oh yeah...that waz it hehe....I dropped my light to about 22" above canopy level last night, I am thinking that the Dutch Passion Skywalker Haze Auto might give me some height issues, so I don't want to stretch out the babies and get any extra height....Nooice!

hey hey @Vapo - hope you are well!
Cracked me up, started off with so much promise of memory strength and agility... :crying:
You already have me keeping an eye on that T.A dual - once my green haze bottles are done - they are next in line.
Having looked a them in as much detail as is available online since you highlighted them - they remind me very much of the Ionic range, 1 part grow and 1 part bloom, I used it a very long time ago with great results, but for some reason got dragged in to the quagmire of 100 bottles.

Tell me more about this "Stem Splitting" - that is some hardcore HST - have you done it before, I have heard about it and read a little but shy away taking a scalpel to my ladies so late in flower...this is exciting stuff :headbang:

This One!!

:whew:

Nice job buddy!! Buds on sticks!! :D
Yes Blue that is the one dude!...she managed to get really tall and is showing a LOT of main stem, so I thought I would try the split technique...and Thank you for stopping in and your appreciation bro :bighug: :yay::yay:

Hello dude, I have an itchy trigger finger on the T.A Dual hehe..:crying:..my Calmag is running out and I deffo ain't buying anymore haha..:yoinks:..and that old "1000 bottles!" stuff got me too dude but the T.A dual should cure that haha...:headbang:
The stem splitting thing will be a first-timer for me dude...but the way these Dragonfruit ladies have turned out..:d5:..I thought it a good opportunity....:smokeit: basically all you do is put a cable tie around the stem, about 1" above where you want to cut (I would think!)and another cable tie 1" below the cut.
Then using a thin, sharp blade, cut straight thru the main stem, leaving the blade in the stem.
Next you twist the blade a little bit, thus opening the cut stem. Then insert toothpicks through the cut and draw the blade out and hey presto!...split stem technique....I think the science behind this is it creates 2 independent ways for the plant to draw feed....and it shocks the plant right at the end of the life cycle, apparently making the plant bolster it's defenses, in the form of trichomes..... Nooice!....but like I said dude never done it b4 and I suppose I am sceptical about it.....but I won't find the answers to my questions by NOT doing it dude haha!!..ofc it will be written up and pictured step by step, then posted right here on AFN......also, I read a
Royal Queen Seeds tutorial on it yesterday?.....maybe?....but it says to do this stem split a few days b4 harvest....but I think I am gonna do it about a week before, see what, if anything, happens dude.:bighug::bighug::muahaha::muahaha:

Hello AFN...it's the SeedStockers Thunder Banana Auto that are today's subject.....these ladies are.."thundering!"..hehehe ahead and are resisting my ties with awesome force...twisting and bending to make strong arcs and struggle against their shackles....but they can't break free so f**k them haha...

..see the left hand furthest away stem?...if you zoom in to where this stem joins the main stem, you will see some light brown colouring.....this is where this one has snapped, and the snapped ends have oxidized... but not fully, as you can see... that stem is far from dead.
although she is only hanging on by a thread!!...she will eventually recover fully as long as I am careful with her....have a great day everyone!!
