OH THAT IS THE PERFECT RESPONSE! I understand now completely when and where both to top and what to remove. So I top the plant above the third node, leave the third node leaves, and remove everything below the third node. It couldn't work out any better that I am doing this about 10 days or so behind you. I can follow along as you train and shaped yours and I can learn as YOU go.

I let the fourth node come out a bit to leave a bit of stem behind as well dude....It helps reinforce the 3rd node a bit when bending stems in the future.....

I did want to ask you about nutrients and feeding. I know when I start feeding my seedlings. But when do you start feeding your seedlings and how aggressively do you feed them?

I start week one of feeding after a few days, let them get their first full sets of leaves out.....I usually try and put seeds in a glass of water at the weekend for 24 hrs and then they are usually potted up by mid-week-ish and I start the feed on the Sunday as day 1....I use Sunday as it's easier(for me)to remember to change feeds if needed....and I feed full whack as the chart says dude....

I used to run big bho runs as you know and I felt big amounts were easier to collect but small amounts I seem to get all over my hands and everything else also here's a node pic I use View attachment 1294585

Hey AFN...just fyi I will hafta be starting a new thread soon.....my stocks of Dakine420 are running low and tho I would carry on with these nutes bcoz I have hade some great results and I will carry on untill the end.....but the postage is killer and I cannot afford it....so I will be switching back to an old favourite of mine....? MWAHAHAHHA... don't worry I will post a link when I switch lol

I personally top above the fourth node as long as I can do it before day 21. You don't want to go longer because you want the plant to have enough time to veg out properly.

The only reason I am not posting my choice is out of respect to Dakine420....they were good to me to send me a kit, and I just feel better not mentioning another nute brand on a thread I did for Dakine420.....call me crazy but that's just the way it is hehe....I will post a link to the new thread tho...
