UVB Increases Potency?

Has anyone tried adding additional UVB to their grow room? I've read quite a few articles which mention it increases THC and THCV production so was thinking of getting some sort of reptile bulb in there if it's worth it.

Articles touched on Why plants grown at higher altitudes are more potent than say ones grown at sea level.. i have a good full spectrum LED as one of my lights with UV/IR, plants always lezn a bit yo that side. I have considered adding a black light to the lighting mix as a result of those articles.

Ah sweet, can you recommend a black light to go for. I was thinking of running it for say 4 hours a day or so. Happy with something clip on so I can use it in addition to the HPS in the centre.

Really not sure what Blackliight to suggest. One of my sons left 3 48" Blacklights with ballast behind when he moved out a few years ago. Thought of adding one to my tent.
I currently have running (24/0) - growing Mephistos, so they can take the 24/0 lights,
Hi-SDard Full Spect with IR/UV LED 600W
Hydropics COB - 800W
3 x LED 5K 100W bulbs
3 x LED light strips mounted vertically in 3 corners 12W
Problem is I have a 4x2x60 tent, wih carbon filter and fans, its full. Would have to do some creative light mounting. I would run the BL 24 hours as well.

It really does seem to make a difference from what I'm reading. I'm particularly interested in the effect of THCV too.

Agreed, my current journal is in the Mephisto forum. Update it pretty frequently, i just have one perpetual journal these days.

I haven't used a UV light as of yet, but its something I would like to try. I'm pretty sure a regular black light would not be anywhere as effective as a actual UVB light, you could look at one for sanitising or a reptile one, I've seen them on amazon, and sites similar like ebay or aliexpress.
