First measure the footage². To get it from square feet into square inches, you have to multiply by 144.

Footage² x 144 = in²
Ex: 1ft² (12" x 12") = 144in²
4ft² (47" x 48") = 576in²

Total Lumens ÷ Inches² = Lum/in²
Ex: 10,000L ÷ 576in² = 17.36Lum/in²

Why shoot so low? I don't think I've met anyone thinking about going through the effort and headache of indoor growing for 18g per plant. Just curious. Also, most folks worry about Lum/ft² rather than all the way down to the inch². Here is the formula regardless. Maths.

Whell im shooting to low expectations for a happier harvest. High expectations equals let downs. N from most ive read these autos are only good for around 1 zip. Im n outdoor grower n this is for a hobbie im already set for the year on smoke so their is the answer for shooting so low. N that also gives me a qp for about 200 bucks .

Autos only get an ounce? Most autos can get at least 100g if not 150 or more. Auto genetics are not created equal. Mephisto has their shit together and IMO (and the majority of AFN) they are the best breeder of autos by leaps and bounds. At the end of the day it's all about quality though, I would much rather have a zip of something amazing than a ¼ pound of something less desirable. Give LST a shot with some Mephisto beans...you won't be disappointed.

I would love to see anyone with my set up obtain 100 grams per plant with anykind of genetics. I have 11 13 watt hyper tough led grow lights from wal mart my grow space is 2x3x4 i have 6 plants crammed in their note again this is for FUN a hobbie its compareable to a cfl grow i have less than 100$ in my set up encluding the 6 seeds. If u can get 100 grams per plant using this set up id love to see !

The above 1 oz per plant is on research of closet cfl grows which i believe my set up to b close to. As per the seed bank i live in north america n apreciate only home grown attributes Michigan where i live is where i want to keep my $ flow so i looked for Michigan seed banks. Im glad you have a good place to get seeds but im happy keeping my $ local n know from 20 years of growing photoperiod plants outdoors that its the gardener that defines the plant not genetics alone. I appreciate ur light formula for indoors though im not use to using fake light n know very little about it. I do know that im excited to try these autos outdoors next summer n see their true potential under the sun.
