I think that is because of the forest around the cage 2 more weeks of veg, those girls are gonna be monsters when theyflower

Day 55 (week 3 of veg) Cherry Atomic Sledgehammer

Well, she has recovered from her stunted seedling solo cup transplant. she has almost drank all her res up so i will top her off with some fresh nutes 900-1000ppm@5.8ph of megacrop.

I will re tie down branches and trim leafs off later today or tomorrow.

4-5 more weeks of veg, i want my autos in the tent to finish before i flip her so we SHOULD have a nice plant filling out the cage here soon.

I got around to it defoliating her just now and learned she was super bushy and had suckers growing everywhere.

It is cool to see how she just stopped growing up and split into 5 main branches, and those branches wanted to make 30 branches each i fixed that lol

I had to spin the pot around to trim her up which worked good so i decided i'll tie her branches down later after she recovers from the trimming as spinning her was no problem, i avoid not hurting the other tent plants so everything is working good so for with the cage, i just need bigger branches now to spread her out more, 4-5 more weeks of veg should fix that

I did noticed she had some pistils showing somehow with 18 hours of light a day but was only a few and not all over the plant, no male nanners just a few pistils is all i seen, i took a pic of what i seen.

Topped the res off with 1000ppm mega crop @ 5.8 and lets see what happens in a week from now.

Nice cage plant bro! I had @Bill.de.Cat making jokes at mine being to small for the cage he just don't know the issues mine has had.

I hope mine fills out in the next few weeks and looks something like yours

Here they are at day 48 from seed. I picked the wrong plant to cage. These are not homogenous, two different phenos… trying my best with the caged girl. She is short and bushy. As you can see front left and upper right are the caged and control. Both fed and watered at the same time. Hard to judge frequency but both are getting almost a gallon every other day. HLG 600r is on fourth click from off. Temps are steady at 75F.

Looking good....I got my hlg 650r turnt up....max with uva bar and LG uv creed far red bar..

That is me being a pioneer and trying new stuff lol i have an autopot valve filing up a 4x4 kiddie pool and i use the hydroton to place my fabric pots on instead of the pots sitting in water they can wick up through the hydroton. It seems to be working but i need more pots added and a bigger res to make it automatic, for now i am turning the valve on and off each week as needed. My next grow i'll perfect it
