What do you think bat guana is? Its shit. Most food grown in the us is fertilized with human waste. Hate to break it to you. Shit and piss is what fertilizes everything organic. Whats the difference about where it comes from. Thats right... even in 2020 with all the tech out there at the end of the day its still human waste that does most of the fertilizing in the us. For me, it comes down to the fact that most people-at least in the US aren't exactly healthy eaters. Add to that all the pharm drugs we take, who knows what we would be feeding our plants. According to this article, the 2nd step in processing this waste is high heat--- which kills off all the living stuff so I'm not sure why I would want to use it in an organic garden. And as far as DIY, I don't have the space nor time to devote to making it safe. Especially not for my little closet grows. If I had a farm with enough space to have a compost pile that I didn't need to use for 6-12 months, I'm sure I'd look at it a little closer
I would be interested in knowing the results if anyone using it has had their weed tested.
