I managed to take a pic of 2 of the insects on the leaf, since coming back from being away there seems to b more of them, got rid of all that i could see so far.., they are very very small as u can see, mostly seem to be on top of the leaf but have seen a few underneath too, im not sure if eggs have been layed but they probably have which upsets me more :(.

im prob guna buy some BioBizz Leaf-Coat spray as it goes with the products i have and it says it helps with insects and things..

review of Leaf Coat from BioBizz website..

'' Leaf-Coat is a ready-to-use product that can be applied to plants growing in soil, coconut substrate and rock wool up to two weeks before the end of the flowering period. Leaf·Coat™ is a product made from natural latex which was developed to restrain evaporation. Within a few hours after application, a very thin elastic layer of 1.5 micron, which contains the nutritious elements for the plant, is formed on the leaves. Its effect will last for up to two weeks until it is decomposed by light or sunlight.
This natural latex creates a protective, permeable, self-degradable layer on the leaf, while at the same time it allows the passage of air and light. This thin layer is however effective enough to pro¬tect the plant against pests and diseases. Leaf·Coat™ is extremely suitable for use as an environmentally friendly alternative to pesticides.
Leaf·Coat™ strengthens plants and gives them a powerful expelling effect on harmful insects. It also prevents damaging leaf fungi. It has a pleasant smell, contrary to synthetic and toxic products. It gives no irritations and can be used safely.
This product has been inspected and certified as organic. Leaf·Coat™ will save the distributor, retailer and end consumer money, and reduce the use of pesticides. Growers have experienced no detrimental effects on their crops: no sign of inhibited plant growth or toxic residues. ''

its the only thing i can think of thats Organic and sounds like it could help.. and can be used with my biobizz nutes,, im goin to ask when im in the local shop and see what the guys there say too but if anyone on here knows what these insects are then that would be a start to get rid of the bastards!!

cheers for any info peeps! :D

been doing some research, thought it may be aphids.. so looked thru google, and it wasnt them.. but they said aphids and THRIPS!, now im 90% certain these little bastards are thrips!... if anyone else can identify it as something else.. tht be great but from wht ive read about them, it has to b thrips.. but, least now i kno what it is so i can get rid of them, and its at an early stage, not flowered yet and i wouldnt say its overrun by the cunts.. but they are there and thats tooooo much, need to get rid!!

a good pestiside,, spray,, anythin else to help kill them!! would b great!

i was going to say thrips too, but i am no bug expert. i hope you get rid of them and have a great grow. Hopefully someone with more expertise with bug problems will stop in and throw you some advice

Since you use biobizz you can mix with 1L of Water 2ml of FishMix and 1 drop of Dish detergent. Use this mix foliarly on top and under de leafs. It will help you get rid of thrips, but might not be sufficient. Use this for a week every second day.

Don't forget to adjust you veg nutes accordingly.

Heres some info on thrips from "HEMP DISEASES and PESTS"

CULTURAL & MECHANICAL CONTROL

Sanitation is important. In thrips-infested glasshouses, remove all plant residues after harvest and heat the house for several days, to starve any remaining thrips. Water-stressed plants are particularly susceptible to thrips damage. Thrips dislike getting wet, so frequent misting may slow them down. Repellant mulch (aluminum foil or other reflective material) works for young, low-growing plants. Sticky traps (blue or pink) works on all plants. Glasshouses can be barricaded with thrips microscreens.

Benificial soil nematodes control soil pupating thrips. Hetororhabditis bacteriophora works better against thrips than Steinernema feltiae or Steinernema riobravis (Cloyd et al 1998). Nematodes will not reproduce in thrips cadavers, so they must be reintroduced several times during the season

CHEMICAL CONTROL
Thwart thrips with tobacco tea or nicotine. Cherian (1932) repelled thrips with a mix of fish emulsion and soap sprays. Yespen (1976) concocted a thrips spray from feild larkspur (consolida regalis or Delphinium consolida). Metcalf et al. (1962) eliminated thrips with sabadilla dust, or a mix of diatomaceous earth and pyrethrum. Spraying a slurry of clay microparticles may work. Sprays and dusts require two or three applications at weekly intervals. Apply at mid-day, when thrips are most active. Be sure to treat the undersides of leaves. Imidacloprid (a synthetic nicotine) and spinosad (a fermentation product) kill thrips. Meier & Madiavilla (1998) eliminated thrips with Cymbush (permethrin). Thripsticks (polybutenes mixed with deltamethrin, a synthetic pythrethrum) can be applied to plastic around the bases of plants, so when thrips drop to the ground to pupate, they die.

Wow had some great responses in Past few days, been great with all the info!

So today ive been to the local store, spoke to the guy there, explained problem with thrips in my garden and asked about biobizz's leaf-coat spray, he said for the plant its good, but wont get rid of problem.. So he hands me a small metal capsule called 'Dyn-A-Mite F1 anti stress folia spray', mix 25ml with 1l of water, spray entire plant under, top, surface of soil, around pots and basically the whole grow area.. Its a 50ml bottle so ive got 2l's worth of spray to get rid of them.. I may stil get BioBizz Leaf-Coat just as extras.. Cnt hurt..

Anyone heard or used that product before ?

Thanks Hugo, JM and pher!!
