Hey everyone im in need of some help..

Today i fed my ladies' first nutrient feed, just checked on them and saw on the top of the leaves, this shiny silvery trail, at first i thought maybe nute burn.. Looked a little closer and i noticed very very tiny insects crawling on top of the leaves and it mustve been them who made those shiny trails... Ive had alook thru all my plants, found more on varied others..

Really really worried as they are at day 14 today so they're still youngsters, the insects are very small, long bodied, almost yellowy orangey in color, and im sure one jumped???

Any help would be appreciated greatly!!, going to chek again with some water and kitchen paper towel and lightly rub the tops of the leaves, hope this helps it but id stil love sum help if poss..

Cheers guys!

sounds like you have spider mites to me. that shiny silver trail on the top is an indication that you've got mites sucking on the undersides of those leaves, causing the white trails on the outside.

they will get out of hand if you don't control them now. I recommend Azamax. It's kind of expensive but works. It's neem mixed with wetting agents to help the oil bond. better than just using straight neem oil, which you would have to ammend with a product like wet betty before applying. http://generalhydroponics.com/site/index.php/products/maintenance/azamax1/ you can find it online or at your hydroponic store

mites are soft bodied so they die easily with even the slightest pressure but they probably laid eggs which you are going to have to keep up on as well.

get the azamax asap with a spray bottle that has a nozzle you can turn upside down for spraying the underside of the leaves. 5 ml of the stuff with warm water and spray with the lights off all over.

spray today...check in 3 days. if you see more bastards, spray again. there on after spray once a week until no signs of eggs are there. hope this helps. good luck

I don't know about in the UK but they have a product called Safer 3-in-1 in the states. It's organic and covers your bases on fungicide, miteicide, pesticide. This early on it would be fine to use. It leaves a layer of sulfur that needs to be rinsed off a couple days later so it is a no go in flower. 14 days in you should be fine using this if you can find it or something similar.

Finished cleaning the leaves with water i use for the soil.

I found more on the leaves crawling around, some varied in size but they are still very tiny bugs,, i hope ive got all of them but i doubt it.. Guna hav to keep checkin every hour or so to see if i missed any, it a pain too because i go chester zoo for a night on friday :(,, great timing for infestations :(

Still any help id gladly accept!
