Indoor Ultra Lemon Haze Grow

I finally got some good pictures of my plants (I don't have my own camera), so I figured I would introduce myself along with them. I'm growing with a 400w HPS in a small "walk-in" closet. All of them are ultra lemon haze from auto seeds. This plant is NOT an auto. The shorter plant vegged for almost 8 weeks before switching the light to 12/12 this week. The other two (the taller ones) were planted a week later so they have vegged for about 6-7 weeks. This is the first week of 12/12. Enjoy the premature pr0n. Any suggestions or advice is much appreciated.

You just flipped to 12-12 this week yet the bud sites and pistils are as full as a plant that has started flowering for 2+ weeks? You sure they didn't auto for you? Auto seeds is legit.

@Captain cure, yeah I'm sure they aren't autos. They all showed pistils around 21-24 days. But around day 30 not only had flowering not progressed, but the insane vegetative growth had also slowed down A LOT. Seeing as I am an extremely novice grower, when I saw pistils I thought, "IT'S FLOWERING, OMGGG." But that's not the truth. These plants continued on 18/6 for another 4 weeks and there was no progression into flowering, just more and more vegetative growth. Those pictures were taken at about day 7 of 12/12, I know the progression into flowering has been very quick. But these dramatic changes were not observed until the switch to 12/12. Here's an excerpt from Auto Seeds' description of ULH:

"Due to the dominance of the Sativa genes and the lower percentage of Ruderalis this is not a standard autoflowering variety. For optimum yield and maximum psychoactivity (THC content), 90+ days are recommended. Indoors, special care must be taken. Unlike other autos the best photoperiod for Ultra Lemon Haze is 12-16 hours."

When I purchased these seeds I interpreted "the best photoperiod for ULH is 12-16" as oh well they are still autos, so I can run them 18/6 and get massive buds. Wrong. These are photo plants that have been given the autoflowering designation because ruderalis is in the genetics. But if it requires a certain photoperiod to flower, then it's not an autoflower by definition. Right?

Hey Stitch, thanks for popping in. So what do you think the leaves look like? I can't tell genetics by leaves yet, I'm pretty new to all this. By the way, my grow buddy is throwing an MI5 seed I have in his grow (he has the auto room that runs 20/4). Pretty excited for that!!!!

And by the way, I just want to clarify I'm not hating on Auto Seeds. They're autoflowering strains are probably good because I've read pretty good things about them. I'm hoping this ULH turns out great, but it is indeed a photo plant, so it should not be designated as an auto. I was planning to throw on other autos, but these ULHs got so big and have maxed out my grow space and forced me to switch to 12/12. It's a bummer when things don't go according to plan or expectations. However, based on the amount of bud sites on these babies I don't think I will be disappointed!

ok first of all...if plants can't start flowering under 24 hours of lights, they are not autos...
second leak are too much fat to be any haze type at all, the sativa haze type is a very thiny type...

I personaly don't give any credit to this new seeds bank that use popular names just for selling, without any stable auto strains and also using the term "Super Autos" when those THINGs.... ARE NOT Super Autos...
