New Grower UGHijinx New Grow

I think it was high 90s-100s for ~5 hours

We are into flower now and had a VPD question.

I cannot get my temps under 75F currently and ~30% RH. The AC infinity fan is running at 10 constantly to maintain 75F, Humidity is getting sucked straight out. Is this OK, or should I consider getting a portable AC unit (expensive). I have one more rectangle vent that could be opened.

Appreciate any feedback.

What does the environment do if you lower the exhaust fan to 70 or 80%? I'd play with it a bit and try to get a better VPD.

Okay. I'll do some testing. The rooms ambient is 72F. Since I'm in my basement I also cut furnace filters to size taped over the intake vents. Probably restricting some flow.

I suppose it could also be linked to how I have the AC infinity controller 67 programmed. Have it set at 72 but never gets close to cooling off that much, so the fan runs at 10 full time. If it were to reach temp, I have it to idle at like speed 3.

So I added a second humidifier I had from the seedling tent not currently in use. It a smaller vicks cool vapor type and miles more effective than the bigger vornado EVAP40. I am thinking my filters might need changing on the vornado.

I tried leaving the controller on auto at 75F but the fan would clear the tent too often and drop the RH, over working the humidifiers. I instead have it set to ON in speed 3, it let's the RH to raise into the 50s. If I got up to speed 4, RH doesn't build up as high. In doing this my temps are at 78F. Is that too high a temp? I run 24/0 light schedule

50's and 78 is better than it was  My tent can get into the low 80's but I keep the humidity up to balance that out

Yeah 78 is fine.

I aim for 80*/60% personally so that sounds just about perfect to me.

Thanks for the feedback! They are loving it from what I can tell. Best I can get it is 78F/51RH. I plan on getting another humidifier and swapping out the EVAP40 for the time being.
