I'm stuck on 3 gallon indoors, keeps 4 plants fairly manageable in size, if running larger strains, in a 4x4. Outdoor I jump to 10 gallon, heat and rH here make the extra necessary to keep the root zone from getting to warm, and drying out too fast.

2 5gallon seem to make 2 that can fairly well fill the 2x4 I got to work with but mephisto said both of the strains growing next can get beastly if given a big enough pot so not sure! Does a smaller container make it finish any faster or just a lil smaller plant than 5gal since less room for root zone? Just curious

Am a little bummed, when these girls come down, I close down for about 2 months. My dads in his late 80s, and can't get around as well, so I'm driving him and the 5th wheel down to AZ to spend a month with his buds. I'll be sticking around, probably wander the desert looking for ghost towns. Detector in one hand, joint in the other. Itll be fun, but downtime always risks running low or out, and won't pay retail!
Even with all the costs involved, AND the large expense of the nute line (I figure I average about 300 a run)... it still works out to about a buck a gram. I ain't paying 18$ for a gram of canned junk.

Agreed buddy why I’m ready to have a harvest and keep a rotation of plants going! Around here buds lil cheaper than that but nowhere near the quality! Sometimes I can get 1/2oz of dispensary stuff still sealed from Cali but $180 a 1/2oz! My goal is to grow better stuff than what’s for sale here n shouldn’t be too hard!

Except for my very first run... almost every plant was better than what I could buy. There were a few exceptions, but few, and usually my fault... running unknown bagseed kinda my fault.

I did that once when I was like 19 and had no idea about light schedule so grew 7’ bushes in an aquarium that never flowered!

And not sure time left til have scope tomorrow but the buds are def some hella frosty nugs compared to local stuff especially

They knock off trichs in a tumbler so they can make concentrates.
We get it completely untouched, the "farmers cut".

He’ll ya! Only true concentrate I’ve had that wasn’t prob fake like the vape carts is wax and crumble a few times! Had a good hookup but his runner got busted with a van load coming back from Cali and is in the pen now!
