Sour D update#8
Day 57 Purple Biscauto
These girls seem to be doing just fine- just look at those praying leaves! Only problem is the one on left has reached to 12" below the light. Anymore and I'll have to supercrop em.
This experiment with 2 in the box has been interesting. The bro science is that they communicate with each other and help support each other. So far in the 5 boxes I've had, clearly an alpha female has emerged. I think the next step is to run just 1 in the super size box to see what happens. Running 2 together seems to have created more work as I've been trimming practically every day as they get crowded together. Wondering how that one alpha girl would be if she were able to spread that whole space. It's also added a lot more heat to the space as I've added a light over each girl. Since I have more of these seeds and all from the same batch, I'll try running just 1 in the box when these finish. Instead of 2-135 watt lights, I'll try 1 200 watt with the new Samsung leds and Meanwell driver

All for now

YoungGrassh0pper update#14
Day 77 for my little trouble maker. Nugs continue to get thicker by the day, and she is pretty sticky. Was out of town for the week so the Mrs took care of her. Getting the RO water dialed in now that I’m home for a while And she looks like she really needs it. Been feeding .5g/Gal of Epsom, .5ml/Gal of calmag, 3g/Gal of MC, and 1g/Gal of BE. Water starts at 18ppm. Going to lay off the Epsom salt and see how it goes. Have my open space finishing up, so I will move her out there to finish up. Will be easier to work with her also. Will start 2 more PB this week. Will train them this time

Definitely man so apparently the inside fan blades of the ac got bent somehow and was making all the noise.
Bent blades I have a 6 inch and a 8 inch to check for Bent blades I would not thought they could bend making noise. I thought it was bearings but it might just be a fan blade needs tweeked.

Right on the money fn it was the fan it had a nasty bend and the noise it made was even nastier but everything got fixed yesterday cuz this s. tx heat ain't no joke.

I have pulled down the branches and secured them to the sides of the pot. Still learning how to grow autos and stumbling my way through.

Thought I would do a quick update on my Trizkit plants, yes there are two of them.

The first one pictured here has been lightly tethered to help keep her in check as my tent is only 2x4 and 4' tall.

This second Trizkit I am using as a teaching tool as I try to learn different training methods with auto flowering plants. She is about a week into flowering and I readjusted all her restraints one last time. I've opened up the middle of the plant to allow more light penetration and better air flow. All of her restraints now are directly over the edge of the pot. If all goes well her branches will make 90 degree turns and head straight up. At least that's my plan. .

Any suggestions please feel free to chime in.

Hey bro, when you say one 200w light with Samsung diodes and a meanwel driver are you talking about a sf-2000? I just got a tent and got a few Humboldt seed co Chunkadelic seedlings under a sf-2000 any thing i should know about the light? Currently i got it set 25" above the plants and at 45% power.

Love my sf-2000 in my 2x4. That sounds like a good distance for now, but I had pretty good success following the recommendations in the user guide for height. Right now I have a day 21 flowering photo by herself in there at 13" away from the light running 100% loving life growing into it and can reach 8-10" before I would need to raise it based on PPFD measurements of ~750.

Biggest recommendation: look into a phone app to measure PPFD if you have a newer phone. I use Tent Buddy on my Samsung and it gives me a good idea where I need to be. Switch the light to 3000k on the app and it makes it dead simple to dial in the light. Attached a couple pics for show and tell. Happy growing! :peace:
