twenty20 TWENTY20 MENDOCINO Purple Biscauto - showcase

You can't win them all! I did the same thing and was too embarrassed to keep posting pics. We burned ours with a spraying of organic soap and a really hot day in the greenhouse. They ended up ripening 6" tall

Definitely can't win them all for sure but I will run this strain again her scent is amazing. I think I'm cutting #1 soon cuz I don't have no more smoke.

On the other hand the snow g is doing amazing by the way.

Day 55: Things are just rolling along. Been pushing the water/feed/water/feed. Left plant seems to like it. Right plant looks angry but is putting on size and color much quicker. So, no sure if I should adjust or what to adjust. I'm too new for that so the plant is continue and document!

A few pics right before harvest. Full disclosure: I quietly dropped out of the growing show due to sheer embarrassment. We sprayed our plants with a soap mixture pesticide one to many times and the combination of that and some really hot days nearly killed the plants. They actually came back to form small buds but they are absolutely embarrassingly tiny plants. Only 12" tall tops!! However the flower still looks nice so I figured I would share. The spots on the leaves are not spider mites as most people think but actually thrips which come into our greenhouse from outside this time of year and are nearly impossible to control in August.

 I hate when that shit happens Adam! ...those "soap" products are borderline tolerated I think, and easy to have some hiccup and see things get tipped the wrong way = :wall: Burn the village to save the castle?...I won't use them anymore, they also FUBAR'ed a nice Pitcher Plant I had once as well... I mean like I napalmed the poor thing!
...certainly fed my share of thrips outside, but have been spared a tent invasion,... a GH is even worse right? Man, how they must LOVE a nice, moist lush GFH at this time of year!....Little fekkin' sap pirates, raid and run- :cuss:
Just curious bud, can you use a spinosad product? That, and SNS209 systemic have worked very well for me against most vermins, particularly thrips... nary a mark since I started with the SNS'. However, that's on photo's, for auto's and the 2-3 weeks recommended clearing time for the rosemeric acid it's pretty much restricted for use in veg' only....
But right now, there's the usual caterpillar species (unknown) bastards that seem not well put off by the SNS209, they brazenly sit there shoving mouthfuls of my girls into their creepy little buccal orifices right in front of me! :grrr2: ...so I add some Bt sauce to the plates and that fixes that = :finger:

For all the thrashing, that buds still looks pukka to me!

Yes, SNS209 does combat them well. Spinosad works even better but it's a no-no here since we have compliant flower in the vicinity. We can't risk popping on the lab test. I swear thrips are the hardest bug for us to control in the greenhouses. A lot of the plants all around the premises are covered in thrip damage so I'm convinced there's not a whole lot we can do just deal with it in August and September. That particular plant was unhealthy and small so it got attacked much worse than her peers. We have found a new product that seems to work wonders! It's called PowerSI control. We'll see how the thrips do with it over the coming days and report back.

Trizkit Auto update
Day 25 Post sprout

Three days ago I relocated the three plants you see in this photo from a homemade grow box under a 600 watt Viparspectra blurple grow light. They were happy as clams in mud. Space finally opened up in my 2' x 4' tent where these three were destined to live so they were relocated. The light in the 2x4 is an HLG 280 watt QB light. I'm noticing the plant on the left in this first picture ( Trizkit) is drooping/sagging about 90 minutes before lights out while the other two plants are not doing this. The LUX reading at the canopy of the plant on the left is 30,000 which should be fine right? Is she just maxing out her light intake for the day and that's what's causing her to droop? Or could there be another problem?
Photos taken this morning.

Here is Droopy all by herself again taken this morning when she's all perked back up again.

You sure you are not over-watering them?

PlatinumGrows update#2
Day 30 for purple biscauto - my submersible pump started making noises today - the girls had finally drank up there first full res so I added 3-3.5 gallons of dechlorinated tap water with full strength root hormone, silica, and small amount of p31 microbes - 50% flower and base Kosher Nutrients - some slf100 enzymes and some sugar based terpenes additive that’s good for bloom and microbes it was about 6.1 ph and 660ppm - this plant is kind of looking like a photoperiod to me it is showing sex as female but not blooming - hopefully this refill with bloom only nutrients helps her along auto blooming - but she is doing this alternating internode thing towards the top growth - along with not blooming and big stipules - looks like she wants to bloom but can’t - let’s see what happens over the next week - but I’m very impressed with how big she got after I turned on the reservoir
