twenty20 Twenty20 Autoflower Triks f5 (6 of 12 from 6+6 promo)

Thanks for the tip. I'm wondering if being in the Cultivator's Club is what allows everyone access to the tester seeds sponsored by the vendors...? Is that how one gets to join a vendor sponsored grow?

Hi There! :D

Yes, completeing a document grow start to finish with weekly updates will allow you to submit your application to the cultivators club. When you're in, you'll get a announcement when breeders are needing testers or running grow shows etc.

pretty cool eh!? ^_^

Yes very cool indeed, thanks for the scoop.

Day 19 (and 18)
Still challenged with lower humidity. This new area is chilly and DRY. Adding another mini humidifier (the green frog seen in the bottom of the group shot) and misting regularly. Also, this is my first time sowing seeds into the final container, in this case #5 squat nursery containers. In the past all my autos have been started in a solo cup, and subsequently re-potted into larger containers once they get going. Does any other auto growers have opinions on this protocol (to re-pot or not)? I'm not sure how I feel about this...any thoughts?

Thanks for looking. Wishing All happiness and health...

Day 22 (and 21)
Looking great! Regular foliar feeding of humic, yucca, aloe, coco water and kelp. Humidity in check. They're really starting to take off now. I'm excited to see what height these will top out at. Hope everyone is well.

They really seem to be taking off. Great root growth. Have starting doing some leaf tucking on some of them. It appears as though two of the other regular autos going (also featured in another review) Green Work Seed's High Steaks have show their sex, happy to say it's one of each...a boy and a girl. So the plan remains the same, to pollinate the bottoms of each of these with High Steaks for some auto seeds for playing around in the greenhouse this year. Likely search for a few males from the f2s as well and do another go with the other 6 Triks I have reserved for this summer in the green house. Fun stuff.

Thanks for taking a look.

I have also numbered the plants 1 - 6. Numbers 2, 3, 5, 6 seem to be very similar; aside from slightly different heights these 4 could be clones. They have a very mild scent upon stem rub. The tallest, number 1, has a strong fuel scent on stem rub. The quite different looking, squat and leafy number 4 has a strong pine scent on stem rub.

I'd love to hear any thoughts as to how tall these may top out at? We're at about a foot right now....

5 of the 6 are clearly exhibiting the same morphology. There is however, one short stocky plant that looks quite different. It's about 2/3 as tall as the others, has very wide, large leaves and smells of pine on the stem rub. This shortie is also about a week behind in flowering progress as well. It will be interesting to see the difference in flowers. These look to be pretty uniform (f5), I'll bet the f7s that are being released now are even more-so. Good and predictable for this summers waves of auto greenhouse grows. Last year's grow was a bit disappointing due to small plants, however, this is most likely on account of stress due to the cinnamon beetles.

The other day I top-dressed each plant with 1 TBSP of powdered Terp Tea (flowering blend). Today's watering will be pure water.

Looking awesome so far! Gonna follow along as I'm growing Triks as well! Thinking mine might be like the shorter, stockier pheno you have.

I did a bit of defoliating yesterday on Plant 4 (bottom right corner of group shot)

I did a bit more defoliating today on all 6 plants before I took the photographs. A bit of yellowing has begun to show itself on a couple of the tops, along with 'rusty' fans midlevel. If you look at the group shots you can see them. I have started to lay off the calcium bump from Nectar's Herculean/Khaos combo, and try to get my K level up a bit (and avoid any calcium). Roots are explosive on all plants, even still growing out of the containers. They're lovin life, and so am I. Hope you all are too.
