Grow Mediums Trying Coco After Soil

Wow thanks friend❤
Yes I am having same readings at runoff.Equal or 10-15 ppm more than input,at times even less than input.I Will fertigate in a matter hours and update.I Always runoff to test.
@DCLXVI Here I got my watering, the plants are in cups and I had to only give 100 ml to already recieved instant runoff,so I stopped there and took measurement.
Going in-Ph5,78
Ppm 344 or 0.7 EC.
Running off- Ppm of :
First seedling:344ppm,07Ec
second seedling:359ppm or 0,75Ec
How are those values?Seedling are getting the second node slowly.

Hey friend,

I've been out of town for a few days, apologies for the delayed reply...

I wouldn't worry too much about the ppms being just slightly elevated. It's fine it they are a couple hundred points over. Example - If you're going in at 400, I wouldn't blink until the outflow is 700 or more. I'd push the ppm strength until you see it starting to climb. Just make sure if you put 100ml in you are getting at least 20ml out. Nice slow increase, maybe 20-50ppm/day. Depending on the type of nutrients you are using I've found 450-500ppm to be the max where I started seeing tip burn. Once you hit that, back it off a little and you should be in the sweet spot for strength. At that point it's simply maintaining volume in/out and checking #'s. If the ppm out increase a ton, you can just flush more volume through until they come down. That's the nice thing with coco. Easy to fix and adjust.

That's what I've been doing with success but I am not a coco expert compared to some of the gurus here.

EDIT: Tag you you get the notification - @draxcel

Oh thank you a bunch friend for answering. Here a pic of the ladies yesterday,I shoot for a Total 0.6-0.8Ec(My tap water Is 0.4) at second week of veg. Yes,only autos.
I use canna Coco A&B

(Do not look the last in tan pot,She was reporter from soil and ended up dwarfing with lot of issues.)
What's your thought on those? @DCLXVI

Edit-I bought from Amazon an irrigation kit to build a Little Drip system,a 500l/h pump for a 20-25 liters reservoir,a Digital timer and an oxygenation very little pump.

I think the cups look good. I you have a separate res I would start slowly increasing the strength for the one in the black pot.

hi bro nice to see you on your coco journey but if I was you I wouldn't use any type of auto feeder till you have good roots I also start all my girls in solo cups and pot on from say day 8 wards with great success and them seedlings look pretty good to me I also use canna coco/clay pebble mix pre bagged 50 ltrs as I cant be arsed pre buffering etc I just pot up out of the bag

I have garbage water as well, 250-300ppm. I can get it down to 230ish if I run it through my brita which I do. If you can dilute it with some RO water, that would help to get it around 150ppm, but even if you don't, subtract that ppm from your target EC with your calmag and nutrient solution. Either way, you need to feed that girl more. She's yellowed. Personally, I'd rather overshoot my EC target and do an occasional flush in the coco, then underfeed, especially in veg. Unless you're going super heavy with the nitrogen, it's tough to really overdo it in veg.

Thank you Tom,It Is my First Coco time.I am shooting for Total Ec of Half the recommended dosage light Feeding from canna.Including 200 water ppm,Maybe I should not include It in the count?

You Say to not count my water ppm,so subtract from Total ppms?
If so I should up the nutrients a bit and go 0.8-1.0 EC water + nutes...right?
Those are the plants today,do not count the Tan pot one

I was looking more at the tan one but yeah, I would not count your water PPM into your solution EC targets. Shoot for .8EC at that stage, and then up it as they grow. cocoforcannabis has good, conservative EC targets. I tend to overshoot them a bit, but it's generally OK. Some plants do better than others with nutes.
