Seed Bank True North Seed Bank, North America Based Seeds

Not the strains they sent. Hahahahah, what a chzpenis group. 2 of 4 that came were correct. I want some purps, I had ordered the purps version of Bomb seeds, Berry Bomb? and something that wasn't even Barney's (IIRC) 0 of 3 freebies were right. Freebies were canuk? brand seeds. At least 2 were in blister packs and 4 were on Breeder cardstock. Guess I'm gunning for a sweet seeds badge, is there a Barneys or Bomb badge?
 
I wish I'd found this thread sooner. I placed an order with True North seeds on March 7th. I emailed money transferred my payment and it was accepted the next day. 7 days gone by and still no tracking number. I called the store and was told that when I placed my order for those seeds they had just run out and placed an order of themselves. I said so you didn't change your website to indicate that you were out of stock, he said yeah we don't like to do that especially when we have just placed an order. he then told me that he would send me a five pack instead of the 3 pack like I ordered because I had to wait and was inconvenienced, then he told me that he could not give me the two freebies because he had upgraded me to a five pack. he promised the order would be shipped that day. I woke up today expecting the tracking number check my email and nothing. I went on to the website and check my profile still says processing. I called them again this morning I got another excuse the shipping manager was sick yesterday but he's in today and my package is supposed to ship out in 13 minutes he could give me a refund but they're so close to being shipped, its up to me.

I guess I'm too nice or I really want this strains so i said yes ship to me. So we will see whether or not I get them by the end of week or the beginning of the next week, I will update this to let you guys know.
 
Oh man what a drag. They are full of excuses. Really a two-bit operation that prolly doesn't have 2/3 of what they advertise. Watch what they send you! Instead of the Berry Bomb or whatever bomb I ordered they sent Ice Bomb. So if you are after a very particular strain, I hope you get it and they don't decide for you what to send instead, when they don't have what you want and after 20 emails and 30 calls that they don't answer cause they are at wal-mart shopping for underwear or the like. Really shouldn't be in "business".
I think I'll train my dog to open and run a seedbank, he would have to do better. Good luck and good karma to you and your girls.
 
So the story continues...I received my package today. When I talked to them last time I asked for a refund, they promised they would be shipped out. I waited, no tracking number, so I called again this time I got Joe the shipping manager. After asking for a refund, he asked why. I explained it to him, the promises, the waiting, something about shipping manger being sick. He said I'm the shipping manager and me being sick yesterday is news to me. I also said about the upgrade for inconvenience was nice but I was told I wouldn't be getting the promotion cause I was "upgraded" and that to me is poor customer service. He said he would check into my package and call me back. He called and said ya sorry it was shipped last night, so I cant refund, but the package is on the way.

When I got the tracking number I saw that it had been accepted at the post office that same day I asked for a refund. I got the package today, opened it up and saw my freebies plus 2 other freebies. Being lied too so as not to get a refund and then shipped anyways irked me, but ok I got 1 auto and 3 kush fem seeds so no harm, I got my seeds, or so I thought. I then checked my dinafem container only to see dinachem 5 seeds. They sent me Photo's not Auto's. I called and asked to speak to Joe. The guy on the phone said he's busy, I can help you. I said no thanks, have Joe call me, he then grunts and says ya well he's on the phone and really busy so again I'll just help you. I said no again and told him to take my number and name. Joe called back in 10 minutes. I told him what happened and he said really? Shit, ok, let me check our stock. He says ya we don't have any dinamex in, its on order, so if you can ship those back and by the time they get here we should have those in stock and we can mail them out to you. I just laughed and said no, I don't want them now. I said I had runner ups I would rather try.

So they are shipping me Dinafem Moby Dick Auto's. I have no problem sending the seeds back, they will get them, but not until I get my order. They can sit in my drawer till they come.

After all this, I'm just going to find a strain I like, and breed them. I hate having to deal with people on the phone and over email.

After checking their site a few years ago and being impressed on the inventory, I decided to call on a couple of strains that were in were shown in stock on the website(I think it was mdanzig strains I was inquiring about). The guy on the other end laughed when I asked about the strains and said "haha nope those are out of stock", so I replied with "Well why are they showing as in stock on your website?" ..."Ahh haven't got around to updating that yet"
That was enough for me!! I went and bought seeds from 2 other Canadians PeakSeedsBC and BCSeedKing. Both orders worked perfect.
 
The story continues.... Digging through my alternate email I find an email from true north. Laughing I thought what on earth could they possibly have to say to me after all that mess. It was an apology with a code good for $80 in beans saying they have all new staff and they are synced up with breeders etc etc. I replied saying I'll take your $80 in beans as apology now if they want to send me that plus the original seeds that I ordered plus the "freebies" for my trouble they promised PLUS $25 worth of seeds to cover the shipping I spent on seeds I never wanted, all in a timely fashion, they might prove they have their act together. Either way, I'll post the results. I'm not holding my breath for free beans...

So I am hugely skeptical considering just how screwed up my first experience with you was. While I am not going to say no to free seeds, I used your coupon, I also will not hold my breath waiting on my order.
Thanks for the apology and the code for free seeds. I view those seeds as apology seeds and will accept them. Now how about reconciling my order and getting me what I wanted in the first place? Want to earn my business again? Here is what that will take:

1. Include the 5 AutoFem Berry Bomb from Bomb seeds and the 10 AutoFem White Widow from Greenhouse seeds that I ordered and was sent replacements for. As I had no intention what so ever of spending money on the seeds that were sent. They were just sent without even asking if I was OK with that or would prefer a refund. I had no say in how my money was spent, not OK.

2. Include the few extra for the "few extra" that your guy told me he was going to throw in (he sent 1 seed). I view a few as no less than 3. An extra seed would be 1, a couple extra?- 2, a few extra by default of not being 1 or 2 would be 3.

3. How about a few more extra for the cost of shipping that I paid for seeds that I did not want?

I understand things happen but to regain the trust of customers that were hugely screwed over is, as it should be, a difficult and expensive task.
I used the free code you sent. Send me what I mentioned above, in a timely fashion and a complete order and I will mention it in all of the forums I am registered in. As I am extremely doubtful that will happen, IF this plus my free code order arrives successfully, people will hear about you. You know what, whatever happens, either way, good OR bad, this experience will get posted. Considering the first round of posts and the colossal screw up that was my first order, I hope for your sake you've hired some competent people.

So all told I ordered the Dutch Passion Colour Mix 7 which is 2 x Think Different 2 x StarRyder 2 x AutoXtreme plus the 1 freebie that comes with that an autofem lemon skunk haze. They are sending me what I originally ordered 5 AutoFem Berry Bomb from Bomb seeds and the 10 AutoFem White Widow from Greenhouse seeds plus what should be 2 outstanding freebies of their choice to make up for their account rep promise plus 3 more freebies to make up for the shipping that I paid for unwanted seeds.
So the tally sums up to 27 seeds of various colours and styles. I hope they do it. I mean, beyond getting a bunch of free beans, I would like to see someone finally accept there was a problem, listen to a customer and do what it takes to make it right in the customers eyes. If it happens it would be a big win for these guys. Am I holding my breath? No.
I couldn't figure these folks out from the beginning, they had a great looking website which took more than the average joe to create but yet when I called (when anyone called from this thread) the people were seriously lacking in professionalism, had zero customer service skills, had no idea what inventory was on hand and was downright shitty to us. It sounded like I said, like a fly by night one or two guy operation out of someones garage.
They have taken steps in the right direction. I am skeptical that all this pans out but if it does, I for one will be happily surprised and if they have taken care of you all as they say they are going to take care of me, maybe just maybe they can climb out of the horrible hole that they have dug for themselves, time will tell and we shall see.
It will be reported either way.
 
I was considering ordering from these and glad I didn't, it was just a gut feeling. Glad I came upon this thread!
