Olga - Dee's little sister is a week behind her due to being in batch 2 of germinated seeds.

Olga popped up 1 day after being dropped into a fiberglass cube with a little tail. Here's a picture of Day 3 after putting the cube into the CoCo. One thing I found is that CoCo really leaches the water out of the Fiberglass cubes within hours so needed extra watering and a dome.

Olga is getting a different training. She started out with some pony tailing to encourage the lower shoots to grow.

February 7 -

Dee - Day 20 - Still getting heavy LST

Autos grow so fast I need to tighten her restraints a couple times a day.

Olga - Day 13 Off with her head.

Olga was topped this morning between the 3rd and 4h nodes.

24 hours after and a nice burst of growth.

February 13 -

Dee - Day 26 -

I have been doing a lot of defoliation of the larger fan leaves to get light down tow the many shoots. I was a little tough on her and broke a shoot off today. I put a splint on the break and sealed it with wood glue. The shoot recovered by the next morning and is growing great.

Olga - Day 19

Olga responded well to her topping and started getting whipped into shape and got her first doses of LST to open her up and encourage the lower shoots to reach out to the light.

Olga has been getting strategic defoliation and leaf tucking.

You may have noticed those rings around the plants. I put in an auto watering system. The main purpose was to have a watering system to take care of the girls for 4 day when I have to go away in early March. This YouTube will show it in action.

Olga has responded well to LST, Leaf Tucking, Defoliation and topping.

Last Friday I added a new DIY 2 x 4 5 ea COB light. I had been interested in COB's for some time but was intimidated by them. There is so much to understand but once I jumped in I was amazed at how easy it was. I'm currently driving her at 1/2 power and it is as bright as my 2 600 Watt LED's.

Thanks Rollin_along Feel free to drop in and chat or give me suggestions, slaps or whatever. I love growing but still have a lot to learn about maximizing my yield and not screwing up along the way. If I don't learn something new everyday on these forum it has been a day wasted.

I'm new too, started 7 months ago. Previous experience was 30 years ago with bag seed on a window sill. That failed btw lol
