I havent put a pic up lately.just no time.
Debating if i want to start final flush tomorrow for 2 weeks.
Fiquring about 8 to 10 oz's out of her.
But i dont think they look near as pretty as yours.
But i repeatedly took leaves and branches off
Had to supercrop all my tops at least 3 times, she is big, but not looking as yummy as yours.
I have to grow stealth and keep confined by any means possible .
Suppossed to stay short- i think not!
Think i got a mostly sativa phen this seed.
By the way when yours was growing did she smell like burnt plastic for a while?
I swear she smelled like that when she was starting to flower.

about the flush,What are your Trichs looking like? and a 1/2 LB is a great yield my friend!
i defoliate most my plants and the candy kush was no different. in fact i think i defoled her more because i would notice after i would defol the next day she just looked like she beefed up alot and that was strictly due to the defol as i "played around" with it and only noticed the buds fattening up and shooting ALOT of new pistils after i would defol... i believe Kush's respond GREAT to defol! with this girl i even transplanted her from the 1 gal smartpot she was in at like day 25-30 into the 3ga she was harvested in... and no i dont reember that smell coming from her... more of a mellow lemony pine if i remember correctly

I would..

Just go carefully and making sure each leaf you take is making the most difference possible in allowing light penetration and air circulation. Just take a few a day. A lot of people disagree, but it's what I do.

I especially go for the very bottom of the plant so I can shine my side lights in through the opening and reach the bottom/inside of the plant.

Oh, I'd also stop all defoliation by the time the plant gets to late blooming, when the leaf production is starting to slow down.

@XxxAuto yes i woulda started defol on that girl about 2 weeks ago... i do something similar to witchy but i focus mainly on the fan leaves by the top.. i will always take the top fan and all the ones covering the inside part of that branch that hangs toward the center to allow light to the buds the whole way up the stem.. now i do this maybe 2-3 leaves at first to see if the plant reacts ok to it and if she does i continue to take off about 5-7 a day evenly around the plant.. i dont do it branch by branch but i do ALWAYS start at the top to "uncover: the lower and inner budsites

i ONLY take the leaves that have a stem coming off them from the main stem and as you can see from my pics i let some of the leaf stem on it to keep the open wound away from the main branch stem and let the plant just suck out all the nutrients from the piece you leave on and it will drop on its own when ts ready...
