I'm really eager to see how you find them bro.
A lesson I learned from the Autopots forum is only a small layer of pepples at the bottom as too much really fecks the wicking process

i have been trying to study @Hansbricks log and he was nice enough to include pics of how much hydroton to use
Hans, which hydroton do you reccomend and what coco do you use? i currently use botanicare cocogro

Yeah he grows some real nice plants also @2Stoned2Care has them dialed right in

Do we have another autopot convert ?
You will love them bro they are so simple to get dialed in.i have my glueberry growing in an autopot with just plagron light mix,no airdome no hydroton no pump just plain lightmix and she is growing great.they are so versatile you can use them so many different ways its your choice how to use them.if you need any help at all bro pop over to the autopot forum and tag me,hans,pop22 and we will gladly help bro.

Hope everyone had a nice holiday!!! I came back home to find that the mephisto grapex3bog won in the decorated plant competition ! she was a beauty!
Now on to yhe better news! I ordered a 4 pot AutoPot system for the tent!!!!

I use the bagged ready to use coco called Mo’Koko which is only available locally but any coco will do... I prefer not to mess around with the bricks myself but if that's what you're using now it'll work just as well in the Autopots... The hydroton / clay pebbles are pretty much all the same just get the pH neutral kind.

You should do a journal in the Autopot section for your next grow... If you have anymore questions just let me know bro.

i was usng botanicare 5kg brick and im getting tired of expanding it so i think im gonna try canna coco, but i havent ordered it yet. and how much hydroton should i order for a 4pot system? it looks like they sell in Liters? i seen the brand "Grow It" and they have 10,25 and 40L clay pebbles that say:

• Made from 100% natural clay, extremely stable in both pH and EC
• Pre-washed to aid in stability
• Drains freely and does not hold excess water, provides good oxygen levels around the root; suitable for flood and drain systems, multi-pot and drip feed systems

and i will most definitely do a journal in the autopot section Hans

They sound like decent pebbles trip I use canna aqua pebbles still give them a good rinse out just to make sure you get rid of the dust I use canna coco right out the bag I don't bother with canna professional never seen any difference oh I use a giant sieve to wash my pebbles gets all the dust off [emoji106]
