New Grower Trimming autos a no-no?

It's never too late to drill holes, just put some in the rim. When I tie down I usually end up drilling the rim mid grown.

Mr piggy is 100% correct, you should not tape your plant. You could still drill holes, also thumb tacks have served me well a time or two.

As far as lollipoppin, when my autos get about 8 inches give or take, depending on situation, i pick the first set of branches off,

Some might disagree with me but just check out my purple kush grow journal. :) pretty sure i hold the world record for that particular strain(not to brag :) good luck

Thanks. That's what I've Been saying from the beginning. I was sure you didn't wanna use tape as the pores in leaves or stemes can absorb chemicals. And glue can remove resin.

Well i surely dont want that, luckily for me the tape didnt stick and i took it off. I do not have a drill so i will take @growbeast advice and try thumb tacks.

yea thumbtacks could be good, provided you can get them through the plastic lol

IMO, I would go with this Thumbtacks_tegnestifter.jpgkind though and not thistack.png kind lol ijs.

Binder clips like the ones below also work well to hold the strings, and are easy to open and adjust them when you need to, just clip them to the side of the pot and then either clip the string to hold it in place or tie it to the loop in the top.

What do you mean by soft ties?

I live in the US and I purchased a small row at my local Dollar General store, (garden isle), and you can also purchase a roll of twist ties at Dollar Tree. You can call ahead to make sure they have them in stock.
