Dragon Meds Trap's 2X Multipot - Cheesus & E.T. Dragons

It has so far....75º is the lowest it has gotten in there. When it's really cold, I just turn the fan off and it pops up to 80º...exchange happens due to hot air rising and escaping while cool air is drawn in from below. Not as good, but not as important with these tiny little seedlings either. By the time they are Day 25 or so, they'll be off to the main tent. :) And new kids will move in...

Ive had to play around with the vents lights n fans.ive got a 6bulb t5 on the side that iput at floor level it helps keep my pots at 70.

Question when people use the multi pit method, when it comes to weeding out unwanted plants do you pull them up or snip them at the stem. I worry about pulling them up and disturbing the roots of the wanted plants.

It's my understanding that you want to pull as much of the root mass out as well....as these will be sexed around Day 15-18...that shouldn't amount to a ton.

I think that's also and added bonus of starting in Root Riot cubes...a lot of that will come out along with the cube...

But this is my first one.

I think you can just snip it at the base Magic. I've done this and i think i saw recently that A4 does too. Everything below will die. You can use cannazyme to try and turn those dead roots into food i guess! :)

I may get back into using cannazyme, It didn't seem to do much when i used the first bottle, but without it i'm seeing a couple more "issues" crop up - could be coincidence!

Trapper Trapper :) Great dragon start!
I've been eyeing up Ronins germ method too and am up for trying something new! :)

Just found a tray of root riot cubes in the uk! :)

Thanks for coming by, Blue!

And thanks for the insight RE: What to do with the culled males :)

I like Ronin's germ method...it's a handy way to get your soak, your germ and your lift-off in a manner
that allows you to keep the seedling in a "Light" medium until they can handle the final soil. :)

Alrighty - A little Dragon update.

E.T. Subdivision - Day 8:

Got some yellowing on the seedlings, IDK if it's because I soaked with a Mycos solution a couple days ago or if they got a little
burned by the nutes in the Happy Frog...but I think they'll be okay. :) All 4 seem to be growing and developing.

Cheesus Subdivision - Day 7:

Maybe Cheesus Dragons know that I'm Agnostic/Atheist.....and don't appreciate the "lack of faith" :)
These kids have been giving me a hard time with germination. I got 3 to start out of 7....but hay, at least I have 3 :)
The one I didn't follow Ronin's germ directions on and potted straight from cotyledons surfacing...I thought was a goner
but I left it in just in case it was trying to get its footing...and it grew! So that was good news :)

So, we're off to the races. Gave both pots their first full soak of 6.3 water. :) We'll see if they can take the nute rush.

Right on man!
Congrats on the sprouts.:Sharing One:
