hi there i have been growing auto ak and white Russian fem auto's they are 3wks old in 2 gallon pots after watering the other day I noticed a lot of roots coming out of the drainage holes.. so is it advisable to transplant into bigger pots or will they still grow more in the existing pot.... I will try to upload some pictures

I'm with tbm...I'd leave'em...heck I grow throughout the whole grow in 4"...1.5 ltr pots with no issues.....sure I can do biggerr pots, jsut haven't seen the need or results to makee me change....

What's been said is correct. You'll risk more damage to the growth of the plant by transplanting than if you leave them alone. One thing I'd recommend for your next grow would be to start in smaller containers and as the plant grows tier it into bigger containers. Done correctly you'll see some amazing growth.

If there are alot of roots coming out, maybe you could just bury that pot about 3 inches deep into another bigger pot with more soil. They might reach into the other pot and continue downward (maybe not though because as TBM mentioned the air will naturally prune them, this might have already occured.) But this will probably be more hassel than what it's worth, I've seen many awesome grows with 2 gal pots.

I grow in 1 gallon pots to keep the plants on the small side, and like TBM said, any roots that grow out the bottom will prune themselves. I'd definitely leave yours alone since 2 gallons is plenty big to grow a nice sized auto.

thanks everyone i think i will just leave them as you say....well ill be leaving 1 lol just been hanging a light above the plants and on of the straps slipped and landed on top of the plants 1 snapped at the bottom so its about a inch tall is this worth keeping it was just going into 4wks old showing pistils with decent growth the other plant didn't snap just bent at the top could you please tell me what you think i would be interested in what thai buddha man as to say

if it didn't break completely you might salvage it of course it probably won't grow much. Just take a small stick and loosely wrap some thread or bread ties around it. Check it periodically to make sure the wrap isn't tight. Ya might also put a layer of surgical gauze around it and give light coat of fingernail polish hardener in the event you don't have any tree wound dressing then make sure you keep the plant moist but not drenched.

thanks hitman the 1 that snapped iv left just looks as thoe its been topped at a inch lol and its carried on growing the 1 that bent as shot back up on its own accord and seems to be doing fine.
