New Grower Transplant a 5 week old plant. Ok..?

Thanks, for your post, Trifid. I forgot to write yesterday that it has calcium in it, but i don´t know how much. If there are any signs of nitrogen def´s, how soon will they show?

I have used this soil before, but without the Vermiculite, and Leca, but there have been some burnt tips on the leaves, but nothing serious really.

I transplanted the plants yesterday, and they are looking fine. :) They are just reaching for the "sun". They stand in 1 ½ gallon (6 Liter) pots. I think this is the last transplant i should do, but from reading your post, do you think that i should transplant again and add some perlite? I haven´t transplanted before so this is the first one.

I have two Easyryders thats almost 1 week old. They will need to transplant in maybe maximum 1-2 weeks so they have time to recover before they go into the blooming stage. What do you think that i should order until then?

From where i order stuff, they have "Gold Label"-soilmix (50 Liters/12 gallons) with peat, perlite, clay, calcium, minerals, organic compost. pH is 5,8. And then they have a soilless "Gold Label"-coco (50 Liters/12 gallons). And then they have Canna Coco Slabs, and B´Cuzz Coco Bounce. Which one would be the best for me?

I placed a order on Perlite a couple of days ago, and it seems that it arrives tomorrow.

I am planning taking some pictures today to update on how it´s going.

I harvested "Plant 1" yesterday, becouse she had been sitting in the same wet soil for some days. I haven´t been watering at all, but the soil was not getting any dryer. It dried out a little, but i think it was just becouse of the lamp.
I didn´t think that she had any kind of future. Plus all her leaves wore dried-off. Eventially her roots had rot.

I´ll try to take some pics of the bud also in a couple of days.

/H.

Sorry I missed your post the other day or I would have responded sooner. I can't get your pictures to enlarge, so it's hard to see exactly how your plants look. When you reply to a post, hit the Go Advanced button on the green bar at the bottom of the page. Then scroll down to Manage Attachments and load your pictures there. That will place thumbnails in the post and they will then enlarge when clicked on.

From what I can see it looks like you do have a problem. First thing to check is you pH. If it is off, that can cause a nutrient lockout and deprive the plant. It could be that your a lacking in something but until you know that your pH is correct adding more nutrients won't help.

And yes, males can show as early as 14 days. They almost always show first and generally speaking, the larger seedlings usually turn out to be males.

yes you can flush to remove excess nutes. nutrient manufacturers recommend flushing with 1/4 strength of your normal feed ratio. it will flush your plants more effectively than just plain ph'd water....use 3 times your container size in water...3 gallon pot, use at least 6 gallons. good luck with your grow. happy harvesting.
