Outdoor trailanimals 2018 grows

Aaahh, over 1 year on AFN and i learned something new, a wind genny?:crying:

To create power for electricity or just to meassure wind, generators would here be called?!:pass:
wind generator, makes juice to charge batts to power cabin and grow lights! Along with the solar panels I'm energy rich this time of year. no worries!

@trailanimal
Hey brother, how much wood to you burn per year?

We lived near the Canadian border for 13 years, and wood was our only source of heat. Nothing penetrates like wood heat.

Peace
In current cabin? Let me guess, less than 10 cords:shrug:. We lived in the Brooks Range for 12 yrs cooking and heating with wood, more than 15 cords. Our new camp being closer to supplies, we cook in summer with propane.

Thanks and yes, i was asking about current cabin. Ten cords is still a lot of wood! I finally bought a large wood splitter couple of years ago. Wished i would have bought one years ago.

Most people that have not lived in the sticks don't realize how much work it is, but so worth it. We live fairly close to a small city, but still in the sticks somewhat now.

Peace
