total noob with leave probs

Hey man, I thought that wasn't holes but black spots.

Do you foliar spray them? Or did they catch some rain or were by any other means with the leafs wet or very humid for some time? There's a funghus that spreads on wet conditions called angular leaf spot. It can even spread through wet hands handling the leafs. The only way to cure this is to remove all infected leafs and stop any foliars... not sure if it was your case though, I'm investigating along :-(

Read that page and the other one after. Does it resemble? I think it does... Bacterial Blight / Xantomonas Blight or Wildfire/Wisconsin leaf spot funghus problem... Rare shit. Tough luck man. If you're in Europe it most probably is Bacterial Blight, if in Asia probably xantomonas blight, if in America or somewhere else probably the leaf spot.

For next grows make sure you clean your environment well, get rid of that soil and clean the pots very well! I'll be around to watch your developments. Remember it can happen to anyone so share your experience with us all, ok?

Gardening karma dude

Hi all, thanks for all the continued help.
the leaves have holes in them maybe that's hard to see from pictures I'll continue to up load more.
They come in like that almost from the start of the new growth and then the holes get bigger with the leaf growth.
but they don't get worse or spread they either come in like that or don't.
I think ill get some neem oil and liquid soap add a couple of teaspoons of chilli and cayenne pepper and foliar spray.
The plant still looks like it's growing ok so I'll remove some of the worst affected leaves first. Then maybe over the next couple of weeks spray and remove the rest.
I'm thinking of doing it this way to reduce stress on plant or do you guys think I should remove all at once then spray over the next couple of weeks?
To answer Hugo's question's the plant has never been foliar sprayed or got wet, the air flow is very good and I live in UK.
Check out the new pics, if you have any photo requests let me know and again all help very welcome and thanks to all for your kind help.

Then it shouldnt be angular leaf spot, it can be bacterial blight. It's also important to notice you're in Europe where bacterial blight seems to be restricted.

Assuming it's bacterial blight, did you read those two pages I've said? Foliar sprays with copper seems to slow the spread of bacteria. If I were you I would foliar it with copper, allow for 1 or 2 weeks of healthier plant growth and then remove the leafs that are affected. That way the plant will be bigger (thus, stronger).

hi all I've just posted these pictures of better close up's of some of the leaves I've removed.
I read the article as suggested and have bought some copper fungicide and have gave the plant it's first spray as well as removing the leaves.
The last picture is what the plant looks now after first spray and leaf removal.
All comments are still welcome to help because this is just the start I would think and I will keep everyone up to date.

Most of the new growth is fine now one or two still coming in with holes but not as bad.
Hopefully over the next couple of weeks with some more spray's it will get better still.
I have posted a picture of the fungicide I'm using for anyone else who wants to use the same stuff.
I will continue to update over the next couple of weeks to let you know how its getting on, any comments still welcome.
Special thanks goes out to hugo for all his help, your the man hugo.

That's good to know  I don't know if you'll erradicate the problem completely, but hopefully you'll control it well enough until flowering time so she'll grow stronger and still performs!

Here's some good reads:

http://web.aces.uiuc.edu/vista/pdf_pubs/607.pdf

http://www.rkmp.co.in/category/eist...n/diseases/bacterial-disease/bacterial-leaf-b

Be careful not to spread it to other cultures you may have as this would perpetuate the blight, so wash your hands thoroughly and clean the scissors you use as well after touching your MJ. I've noticed your lawn mower on the wall next to your grow. Could it have been the infection pathway? Try to keep your growings and tools as clean as common sense dictates.

+rep for that  Still, you must be aware that it's likely she won't perform well, so you'll have to decide wether or not to continue, or start a new grow. We're learning a lot though aren't we? ;)

Hi all well its been a while so here's an update.
I'm continuing to fight the problem with the fungus spray and removing leaves.
The spray did slow down the spread so new growth is almost as fast as I remove them.
The plant doesn't have long to go now so the last spray was a couple of days ago hopefully the plant will die of leaves as normal towards the end of its life.
I've uploaded pictures to see how its doing.
Comments always welcome.
About the pictures: the area where the pictures are taken in my garage are for more natural light purposes only, the growing area is separate.
the white spots on the leaves are residue from the fungicide.
also the pictures have different light source's, some have natural light, some have flash others have little light at all.
I will probably do one maybe two more updates on this grow before the end just to let you see how it finishes up.
