It looks like it could be some kind of insect.Check out your girl close for insects.

I checked all over like you said with magnifying glass found nothing.
do you think it could have gone or should I just treat anyway to be sure.
what would you suggest to use as a wide spread deterrent as I'm not sure what bug it is or was.

Can you take a couple of pictures in natural light so we can see the true color of the leaves? Also, what is the pH of your soil and/or your run off? You say it's fine but what are the numbers? Also, what is your soil mix, what are you feeding and at what strength, and how often are your feeding?

hi thanks for all the interest and help.
here is the info and pictures as requested.
I am using ionic soil veg nutes at 7ml/ltr. and watering with 3 ltr ever 2/3 days, making sure the run of is about 10%. the ph of this run of is 6.0
I use John innes soil with a light 3 week fertiliser mixed with 20% perlite for good drainage. my plant is now on week 4/5 hence using full strength nutes now.
there is not one yellow leaf on my plant and all edges are fine also.
I hope the new pics will confirm what namvet25 and I reckon that it is an insect problem.
if anybody else would like to input then that would be great, also if anyone has a good broad spectrum insecticide recipe or brand name that would help also. I've heard nicotine tea mix is quite good.

you dont go full strength in soil with hydo nutes its normally 50%

hi there agito maybe my last post was not clear that was probably my fault.
the nutrients im using are the IONIC FOR SOIL GROW NUTES hope that clears this up. Picture attached.

That's not an insect...

Either you're having some problems with nutes or funghis.

You could be running with Fe def. Yellowing young shoots and leafs and some necrosis.

Fe deficiency starts in the new leaves, which lack chlorophyll but have no necrotic spots. This causes them to turn bright yellow except for the veins, which remain green. New leaves start to experience chlorotic molting, first near the base of the leaflets so the middle of the leaf appears to have a brown mark. The veins remain dark green. Note that a Fe deficiency looks similar to a Mg deficiency except for its location. Fe deficiency affects the new growth but not the lower leaves while Mg deficiency affects the middle and lower leaves first.
Fe moves slowly in the plant.

You mentioned run-off, but what's your intake pH?

thanks hugo you seem to know what your talking about. does Fe deficiency mean an iron deficiency and if so how would I remedy this.
sorry for being a total noob but I am.
i'll get my intake ph posted as soon as i can.

the question is why the ionic is not supplying enough is it a lock out from over feeding. they look over wayered or under wated to me. are the root hairs white?
