Topping vs Training

What's up fellow stoners and cannabis cultivators :smoking: It's been a minute since I've had an active thread and I just so happen to have these 2 beautiful ladies.

Both Forum Stomper bred by Mephisto Genetics. Germinated and moved to soil together about 10 days old now pretty well twins but everything about the one in the air pot is bigger, so why not a vs run. I will be topping the plant in the airpot and only training the one in the fabric pot. The topped plant will see some training as well. I have been seeing alot of questions about topping vs training I hope this thread will help answer some questions out there. I will update on feeding days and any time they receive any training and on topping day which is already close. I am expecting great things from these ladies.

Well here we are day 12 babies looking great I think I will add topping to tomorrws chore list. Some great sub branches starting already but for the sake of not burning the big fans by lying them on the soil I'll hold off on any leaf tucking or training for the moment

I've yet to begin any training but the Forum Stomper in the air pot has been topped and both ladies watered

I wish I woulda put them both in air pots now but oh well should still serve its purpose for the journal. First feeding will be Friday followed by some leaf tucking.

About 20 days old now and time for training. The topped plant has really focused on the growth of the subs and is looking great. All the branches were stretched out and pinned level.

The plant that was not topped has does not show as much growth but has stacked another 2 nodes. I have begun pulling her down and pinning her branches as well.
