Hey guys!

I made a post here a few weeks ago, and paranoid as I am, I deleted every picture I posted. So the post is pretty much dead and I dont think I should re-open it, forgive me if Im doing it wrong.

I got help from some nice fellas on this forum, Calcium deficiency or PH issues was the answer. But as Im readin thru facts posted on this forum it can also be too much of it?

Age: She is 27 days today.
Soil: Flower soil 6-6.5ph (with leca and vemiculite)
Nutritns: just a little urine twice, was 2 weeks ago.
Lights: 200w cfl

* Standard water PH should be between 7.5 - 8.5ph (I let it stand with lid off for 2 days) Im gonna try and catch rain water, but it didnt rain these last days. Should I put a little lime in this water to take down the PH?)
* Only 3 holes on bottom of pot for water to come out, is it enough?
* I cant get a hold of this PH meter in another 2 weeks, I know, its bad. :(

Facts Im trying to sort out.

Too little Calcium:

* Young stems and new leaves die.

* The Leaf tips will die back, the tips may curl, and growth of the plant is stunted.

Too much Calcium:

* If too much calcium is given at an early stage of growth it can stunt the growth of your plants.
(My girl was 1feet around the same time others were 3feet)

* The stems of the plant will not be able to hold the plant up and will exhibit a white brown in between the veins of the leaves when having too much calcium.
(I can see this brown lookin thing on two veins/stems)

* Too much Calcium will lead to other micronutrient deficiencies. Also having to much potassium and or nitrogen will cause a calcium lockout.

your high water ph is screwing your nutrient uptake.... also... you need to balance your nutrients ouit...

in my signature... FD's guide to hefty autos.... read that

heres a ph shart... you NNEED a ph meter... its key...

ph vs uptake.gifph vs uptake 2.jpg

6.3-6.5 is optimal marjiunana plant nutruition range... can vary between 6.0-6.8 maxxx usually....

hope this helps

Thank you very much once again JM.

I dont understand this "balance your nutrients ouit", Im not adding any, how should I balance this?

I will invest in a pH meter asap. I have been reading FD's guide you linked, and those results he gets are amazing.
I just dont have those brands in my country, so ill have to do a little bit of diggin to find blood meal and stuff :p
Before I jump on my second grow, i will absolutly have everything ready before i start.

I had no idea i will have to balance the pH in the water every time, sounds like a hell lot of work just with water.

I think im gonna add a few drops of lime in some water for next watering, hope it makes some difference til i can get that pH meter :)

Thanks once again JM.

I thought i was pretty well prepared before i started this, but damn, new things just keep popping up.
