Indoor Too much for rockwool germination?

Hey Prospect here. I activated my seeds in paper towels and their roots grew long and crooked. Now the root of the seed can't go into the rockwool properly.Any ideas?

I ended up just putting the most of the root in the hole that i could, but a few seed tops are exposed. They are currently in a humidity dome with no light
