New Grower To trim... Or not to trim...

You do all of that to autos? All conventional wisdom says that won't really DO much to them, since they have a linear lifespan, unlike photoperiod plants, which you could effectively have indefinitely.

Not doubting, just wanting clarification.

As to what I did, I trimmed all the leaves that were blocking flower sites, and all that looked bad. Then did more LST to the branches. Then watered the plants. Neither seems any worse for wear. Guess time will tell.
Like most things, you want to be right on the limit, do as much as you can get away with, without stunting the plant. So you do a little and watch...then you do a little more. [emoji102] At any sign of discomfort, you back out! Kinda like finding the perfect distance for lights, once it seems a bit stressed, you back out a little, to reach the most you can without the plant crapping out on you. Think of it as you would think of training an athlete. Push to the limit, but not beyond it! [emoji121] [emoji6]
