Hi sis..ive heard of washing bud or water curing, this sounds a little different tho..have you done a comparative against not washing ? And what were those results??

as far as rehydrating it imho, I would avoid that like the plague.the reason is is when you harvest a plant ideally you want the pot to be as light as it usually is when it needs water and dont give it any. you rinse you soil with water only and let the plant drink until you wanna chop then you let it dry up since the excess water will tend to lean towards a harsher hit.ive done this many times in organics from fully watered to Zero water and drooping plants dying for water.the plants that wanted or NEEDED water were hands down thee best. excess water will make is burn a little harsher as well as give a less taste although the taste can be alright it wont be where it needs to be imho. happy smoking bro!

Sounds like witchcraft!

Ill find link and post it.. however, it was put like this, you would wash any other produce before consumption, why not bud?
Because if you're growing it, you know it's clean and free of pesticides and dirt, I don't wash the watercress I grow hydroponically. And you don't want to disturb the trichomes.

Not to mention bud rot and mold, I keep water away from my buds, which is why what you said jumped at me. [emoji6]

yeah you can do more of a water cure and if its good bud and fresh few trics will break off to effect the outcome imo. but if you have PM or another type of an unclean form of molds or spores on it I could totally see washing it personally. but to do it as a precursor to drying and curing for no reason other than to do it.? I disagree it should be done. but thats me. enjoy your washed bud bro!! happy medicating
