I have an old school loupe 60x and trics are about 50/50 clear to cloudy.. i will be buying that one posted..

That's what I go by, 100% of the time! My warning sign is amber. Plants will mature differently, some will lose just about all clear before starting to go amber, others will still have some clear and start showing amber.

This is a personal choice case, but keep in mind that, as they start going amber, you start losing THC. My recommendation is to stay between 10 and 30% amber, maybe take a few buds at different stages, mark them well, dry, and try them. You'll notice less amber = head high, while more amber = body high, couchlock.

I just pulled a leaf from a top bud few secs ago then tried get best.. it looks ALOT more Amber than one from before feeding.. View attachment 755998

That's looking like light reflection, rather than amber trichs...

you also have cloudy, the stages are clear to cloudy to amber, not clear straight to amber without going cloudy first, just doesnt happen that way.

First stage is clear ... NOT TIME TO HARVEST.
Second stage is cloudy.. U CAN HARVEST.
Last stage is amber.. HARVEST TIME..
BEST IS AND THAT'S RECOMMENDED 60% CLOUDY/40% AMBER.
Dont look at Leaves for harvest only look at the flowers

I checked again today, still cloudy but no amber, its water from here on out however.

I've never seen that. I've seen like 50% cloudy, 10% amber and the rest clear, and that's a ready to cut for me. I go by the amber. It's also confusing sometimes becausel once the heads fall off, it may kind of look like a clear head if you're not following closely. [emoji121]

It is, because there can't be amber without cloudy, it's the process. Stalk, clear head, turns into cloudy head, becomes amber, head falls off and only stalks again.
