Hey Bum-- I'm leaning toward what sanguine said,... with both looking like this but in different mediums, light is the only common factor... you say 200w, is that a total? What brand, or is it a DIY unit? I have a custom made 2 COB CXB3590, each COB draws 75w, but it's new to me, with only a partial grow under it so far... Man, they are fierce bright! Seedlings need less intense lighting, so even at 2' it might be too much,... Of course, the usual other suspects should be checked--pH of each medium... And coco is a very different one vs. that light mix, or any true soil... it has several unique properties, mostly involving it's CEC characteristics (cation exchange capacity),...for one thing it's a Ca hog, and so extra needs to be added unless you're using a coco specific nute line,... the way you water, dose feeds, etc. is going to be different than that light mix...
right, straight water especially RO/DI shouldn't be used alone, Ca-Mg should be added at least, but ideally, a weak nute solution is best and put in regularly,... coco breathes way better than other soil/soilless media so overwatering isn't as big of a concern,... it has a lot in common with DWC in fact!... coco pH is best in upper 5' to low 6's, and so should your inputs be,... higher pH with that light mix (peat based?)... Good on the weak nutes and inoculants! the cotyldons will hold them over initially, but feeds should start within a week,...
.. raise the lights up another foot if you can, and get a pH reading of those pots... have I mentioned to you the Accurate 8 soil pH probe? perfect for this job, and far far better than the damn run-off test and calculation method which is usually full of inherent sources of error,.. we have an improved method here as a sticky article above this section in the Infirmary.... barring badly off pH in both, the lights are likely the cause of these issues,...
