I had the same problems with coco and got sick of it. that's why all my pots have potting soil in them. lots of advantages to soil, it retains nutrients so you can feed at lower levels. A bit less sensitive to ph shifts. You don't have to feed at all for the first 2 weeks if you don't want to. You run a higher PH which causes less problems than running very low in coco Coco, IMO, is less troublesome when you run your ph in the 6.0-6.2 range, I don't care what the nutrient companies say. when I upped my PH, the ph issues mostly went away. blend some coco with soil and fill your auto pots and your good for a couple years! I don't change out the soil. I cut out the stump of the last plant and plant again in the hole. Haven't flushed them in 2 1/2 years either!
