Has anyone done this?
Settings? How many pics per day?
Do you use an external battery in order to keep the camera in place?

I was thinking about doing this, but you have to subscribe to go pro to even have the setting accessible to do it and I think if you just keep them plugged in time lapse is indefinite. I believe you can adjust the amount of pic per whatever time frame you set up.

It doesn't seem worth it to fork out 300-500 to get a cam capable of it just to have to pay a subscription to be able to use some of the features. But im pretty sure if you do choose to do this it automatically backs up your recordings on the cloud unless you choose not to.

Also having a camera in your tent is risky from what I hear, even if you turn off the wireless settings you can still remotely turn them on if your tech savvy enough.
