I have half your space 4x4 and run 36 fems after sex in there.

As you say though it's strain dependant, my plants range 30-50 cm (under a 600w)

Something like LR2 would be pushing the limits of light penetration and over crowding due to branchiness.

I get a nice main cola and satellite branches that stay within the confines of the pot dimensions.

If I could run self made fems then I definetly would.
I'd also like to experiment with higher plant numbers, perhaps 49 girls, it might be too much of a headache keeping them watered properly though. I've found a nice balance between work and lazyness at the moment when it comes to maintanence

The yield from the 600 is more than adequate too

If I went 1000, i'd have it in a 5x5 at least.

I think im gonna be buying the 5x10x6.5 soon. along with the xxxl 8" hoods. Should be able to fit 72 easily in 2 gal pots

I recently bought a good varity of seeds from attitude and am going to do 2 4x4 flood tables one will be ebb&flow the other will be super soil. I am going to do the same strains and numbers on each table to see which yields and has less problems. I want a strain that i can put 16 on a 4x4 and pull 2lbs in 60 days from seed. 1000w on each table

Let me know if you need any pointers with CS. I've learned over years of trial and error.

I recommend 50-60ppm, Some say 70, some say 30, I've tried everything inbetween and have found 50 ppm to work great, and up to 60 for auto flowers. Anyways feel free to pm any questions, I will gladly answer them!

Thanks. Im about to upgrade to a 5x10 from this 4x8 and put 2 XXXTreme 8" hoods and 72 plants in smart pot 3 gal. Aiming at that magical 2lbs per light
