Dutch Passion Think Different

Some go 100 days but that's quite rare. I've had two different phenotypes, one appeared to be sativa dominant as it grew very tall. The 100 days are down to the genotype as opposed to the phenotype, as the phenotype is just the outward expression of genes, the genotype is the inward expression which is related to plant growth rates.

Both of my grows ended at day 65-75 and I had 157g off my 65 day one :) Getting a longer genotype seed is just down to genetics and it's rare to get the long ones!

im gonna say its down to the grower why they take longer to grow and ill explain why..........

when the plant shows sex you have the choice of either keeping them on veg or giving them the bloom feed, if you keep them on veg feed this is obviously gonna make them grow bigger and longer because of the amount of nitrogen still being supplied to the plant where as if you switch to the bloom feed earlier your actually cutting the nitrogen and forcing on the bloom phase quicker because of the increased p+k

the reason breeders have different flowering times on their packet compared to what growers actually achieve is because we all grow in a totally different way, some people will switch to bloom nutrients after they have finished stretching while others will switch as soon as they throw pistils, think about the amount of time it takes for the plant to get adjusted to a switch in feed, lets say for example it takes 1 week for the plant to notice the change, the longer you leave it before switching the longer the grow is gonna take to finish, both ways have positive and negative effects because the longer veg means bigger plants but the shorter veg means quicker finish

just my :2cents:

Post new be here, gotta say just read your post makes absolute sense.
just growing my first auto cheese and was a little confused
why after 6 weeks and 3 grow feeds, I still had small preflowers
Under a 600 watt metal halide, so I put it in my Boom Room
immediately fell in love with the difference it germinated on 9/23
So according to the breeder It should be done within the next 4to5 days
but it has the development of a regular strain... any thoughts?
