Grow Mediums Think different scrog, hydroponic wilma system

Bud rot sucks ass mate had it a couple of times with failed timer and switching off fan when doing maintenance. I keep my fan running 24/7 now and check regularly. :cough:Plants are looking amazing well done!:jaw:

Shit.. Jake!! You scrog master..

All looking fine my friend... Bummer about the mold.. :cuss:.. But come on I'll give you a  looking ace anyway dude.

Hahaa... Thanks dude I needed a hug after that saga!! But boy am I glad it was spotted when it was.. Could've been a complete disaster. Vigilance is key! The whole way through the grow without a problem then I got hit with the worst problem in the book lol

Ah well all is good in the hood now!!

Thanks again bro!!

:peace:

Nice work J hope theres no more probs :gthumb:

Cheers man... Been keeping a tight eye on these babies. Going in checkin the scrog with the black light during lights off.. All seems well. Hope so myself mate.

Cheers again

Anno man its a kick in the balls alright, all in all I think I lost around 1-2 grams max, so I consider myself a lucky duck. This mold came from a rotted leaf which had receded into the middle of a big bud.. The sneaky fucker near ruined my crop!!

Cheers mate much appreciated and good luck with your growing!! Hope you have a mold-free future!!

:peace:

Damn man sorry to hear about your rot, the scrog looks fantastic! Is this your first time running "think different" in a scrog? If not what is your average yield per plant? I am a long time SCROG grower and am thinking about switching from photos to the larger autos in my own scrog. Any info you could provide will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance.. :eye:

Hey erock, cheers for that man. I'm was pretty disgusted at the rot but the problem hasn't seemed to develop any further. I think all the spores have been eliminated.

This is just my first time running TD, I have only grown photos before. This is my 3rd grow and first scrog so i'm not sure if I can help you out with differences between auto-scrogs and photo-scrogs. Sorry man. Although i must say, Judging from seeing these autos and comparing them to the white widow photos I am also growing (also comparing it to previous snow white/wappa/sputnik photos I've grew), I can honestly say that TD is definitely just as good or better due to a number of reasons;

• Shorter seed-to-harvest time
• High yielding
• Forgiving
• Beautiful coloration
• High level potency
• Aromas
• Scrogability

The one thing I can say is that TD will not let you down mate. if I were to recommend an auto to start off with, it would have to be Dutch Passion's TD. I do take into consideration that this is my first autogrow but from a cannabis lovers perspective this is a wonderful all rounder. It's a SuperAuto in my eyes. Ya should check out Seymour buds TD- 350g beast. Inspirational stuff haha

If you wanna find out more about scrogging with TD you should check out Hazy, Taviddude and Billy Wu's TD grows, to name a few. They're on my friends list and have a lot more experience than me. I'll be able to give you my dry weight in a couple of weeks. From the two plants I've pulled down already, I think they'll dry out to around 5-6 oz (140g-168g). I'm expecting 3-3.5 oz off the 5 larger TD in the scrog.

Going on predictions from my own grow and results from others TD/Scrog grows I'd say with the right conditions and basic knowledge you can easily fetch between 20-30 oz from 5-7 plants.

Hope this helps you man and good luck with your grows

TD Soil. Day 87

Few pics of out TD soil plant. This plant was stunted at the beginning but there's no way to tell. I think it still has a week or two to go. Gonna let it take its time. Buds starting to put on some serious weight and hope it it continues

:peace:

Scrog removed

The scrog has been removed so that the plants have freedom of movement. This will give them extra room to grow and will help us minimise the potential bud rot sites. Some plants could potentially be chopped on Wed/Thurs of next week.
