I bought a new ChilLED logic puck with added blue and put together a 100W self contained light. But as I'm not ready to get anything started yet, I thought I'd put it in the grow area to have a look. The two Elite96's were running at 3.8A and outputting 420W and drawing 470W at the wall. I turned the Chilled cob up to full which runs at 108W at the wall. and the two Elites are now running at 3A and outputting 320W and all three lights are drawing 460W at the wall. The difference in coverage is surprisingly large and caused me to rethink the layout.
3 hours of solid pruning, defoliating, undergrowth clearing, retying down, and different light arrangements have resulted in a pair of plants that have a better chance of surviving this current 80% humidity and over all high temps, without succumbing to some nasty moulds. That's another advantage of defoliating, you can get rid of a spore before it becomes a problem.
Having the self contained scrog has made it much easier to keep a handle on what's going on. I could pull each one out and rotate the entire plant. I tried a couple of rearrangements and I ended up turning both plants back to the way they started out. Which allowed me to clean up the plumbing too.
Now they are both nicely spread out and I'll do some gentle moving now just to keep it nice and even.
Auto Glueberry from the garden dried nicely, and looks very similar after drying to the gf's photoperiod Blueberry she planted in the garden. It has the same intoxicating Blueberry aromas with some subtle difference, but she also has a hint of the sophisticated OG Kush that has a darjeeling tea taste. I have two more Auto Glueberry beans from Dutch Passion and I'll be looking forward to seeing what she can do indoors.
