Man sues wife over having ugly baby
A China man sued his wife over what he calls their "incredibly ugly" baby that was born to them, the Christian Post reported Friday. Jian Feng ended up winning $120,000 in the unheard of case.
Feng believed their daughter would be as beautiful as her mother, but she wasn't. After taking a paternity test that proved he was indeed the father, he learned his wife had over $100,000 in plastic surgery done to improve her looks before they ever married. The baby inherited her mother's natural looks, which weren't as pleasing to the eye.
"I married my wife out of love, but as soon as we had our first daughter, we began having marital issues," Feng said. "Our daughter was incredibly ugly, to the point where it horrified me."
They wound up getting a divorce with Feng citing "false pretenses."
The courts found that since the man was lied to by his now ex-wife, he was awarded $120,000 in damages that she must pay him.
How will this affect the child when she grows up only to discover her own father sued her mother because she was an "ugly" baby? Superficial is an understatement in this heartless case.
