Indoor Thermometer location

Ive done a few grows but haven't really bothered with a hydrometer/thermometer. Where would the best place be to put the thermometer? using a 600w hps with cool hood Obviously don't want it by the light as I'll get a false reading. Hope someone can help cheers

side of the tent wall if your useing one take some ducked tape and put it there about mid way in the tent remeber heat rises so it will read hotter at the top of the room

I have a tent with metal poles. The hygrometers have magnets on the back where I place one in each back corner, sticking to the corner poles at about plant canopy height.

I just ordered this Amazon product ASIN B00SIZZBDK it gives you 4 readings around the tent as you please, or 3 if you keep the monitor panel outside the tent or you can single point monitor 3 (or 4) grow rooms remotely. That's pretty cool might invest in one! Corgy I know this is a bit off topic but one of my seedlings the leafs on it are going up like it's waving it's arms in the air lol best way I could explain it. The others aren't like it what could it be?

Off hand I would think first about the distance from the light, just speculating..... when does this cheerful phenomenon occur, just after lights on, permanently or in anticipation of Liverpool burying Man U 37 - 0 tomorrow?

i would put one on the floor by the pots, one half way up the wall and one canopy hight
