Indoor The Tent Of Deliciousness

Kids 18 days old and poppa is 56. I think the kids are liking the new added nutes. Almost time to top, I prefer after the 5th node and wait until there’ll be at least 1/2 inch of stalk left after I cut. Temp 75-80 rh 55-60% lights on, lights off numbers are a mystery because I’m also sleeping but apparently they’re not horrible. (I run 16/8 and my kids sleep 11p-7a) Happy growing and peace to all

May sound stupid but where did u get the pots with the eyelets on it?
Amazon. I get the cheap ones and throw em away after the grow. Theyre not really necessary though as I also frequently just poke a hole in the pot with a razor blade and it works exactly the same.

Opened up the whole tent before it‘s really necessary but having a problem with the lights. If one is at 80% the other will flicker at 60% or higher. Just realized when I built the shed years ago I used a GFI plug for the first one so I need to replace it as I think it’s hindering my input from the 30 amp breaker. Hope so anyways or I gotta deal with a shitty light. Both lights set down to 60% which is cool for the kids but had to raise poppa to about 24” away to, supposedly according to app, maintain the 700 ppfd. I THINK ppfd is ppfd no matter how far or intense so hopefully I’m not depriving him much. Any input on that would be appreciated.

Topped 4 as they had enough stalk after the 5th nodes and I cut the first node off all 6. One should be ready tomorrow and baby Rocbud soon after. She’s definitely growing petite but is structurally on pace with the others, just a couple days behind.

I’m gonna top the other two today and start some real light training of both stems and leaves and wanted to post before pics. I’ve always leaf tucked to this point but this time I’ve been watching them use the light to train themselves because there’s always something to learn.
This is where the joy starts because shaping the plants is by far my favorite part of the grow and every grow gives me ideas on what new to try next time. So here’s the kids at 24 days along with their nicknames.

After pics
Some bending and directional training and cut some fan fingers for lower light access. I’m not concerned with level tops at this point, I‘m just getting the branches growing somewhat horizontally to the edge of the pot. A couple plants weren’t ready for top nodes to be tied.

I need to drop a few more pics as notes for daily comparisons because these babies are humming right along. The above pics were taken just 2 hours ago right after training and all the tops that I tied were flat but jeez many of them are already getting vertical. I have a little system of removing and adding the ties over the first week of training but there’s a lot of variety here and a lot of ideas in the noggin so thank goodness for these journals. I really want to get good at shaping plants.
